Jouviance

Jouviance is an amazing product line that I've been meaning to share with all of you for quite some time now. I'm fortunate enough to have an amazing rep. for this skin care line who has dedicated a lot of time and effort in working with me and training me on Jouviance so that I can share my love and knowledge of this line with all of you. In this piece I'm going to get into the basics of what the line is, from here I'll go into more depth by posting features on their different proucts.

So to start off it's important to note that Jouviance is NOT just some beauty product line. Jouciance, meaning 'Fountain of youth", is a skin care line developed by leading Canadian dermatologist, Dr.Guy Sylvestre, that has been around for 9 years. This line was made to compliment and optimize skin care treatments for patients of cosmetic dermatologists. Being a product line based on a 3 in 1 property, Jouviance is very effective, while also providing simplicity, leaving your skin looking and feeling, fresh, youthful and radiant. Their products are made to deliver high end results with a product that is simple and lasts a long time ( a little goes a long way) while being at a decient price point.

Being a dermatologist line, Jouviance is commited to using the best ingredence to help their costomers achieve healthy beautiful looking skin. They're line is based on the principle of synergy, meaning that in order to have healthy skin all parts of the skin must create a harmonous balance. Thus Jouviance uses both natural botanicals and the latest biotech discoveries. This is done because the skin cannot properly absorb 100% botanical as claimed in many organic product lines. So by mixing the botanicals with biotech ingredience made in a labratory to closely match the skins natural functions gives the best results using nature and science. Jouviance is constantly putting their products through clinical trials and recieving patient feedback to prove the efficancy of the product fomulation that exceeds all expectations resulting in a loyal clientel base.

Jouviance goes above and beyond to use multiple quality ingredience that varies based on the skin care needs of the client. What is also very important are the ingredience that is NOT in Jouviance's product line. they do not use any unnecissary ingredience that can cause blocked pores or ingredience they feel is unsafe or can cause irritations to the skin. Therefore, Jouviance products DO NOT contain, colourants, parabens, silicones, artificial fragrances, dyes, TEA, DMAE, PEGs and is never tested on animals.

Biosource Softening Exfoliating Cleansing Gels

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Biotherm, so as you can imagine it gave me great joy to try the newest edition to the Biosource family, the Softening Exfoliation Cleansing Gels.

There are 2 different gels in the exfoliation section of the Biosource line, one intended for a normal to combination skin and one for a dry skin. Both products are a clear gel that contains exfoliating micro beads to remove the dead skin cells and prepare them for hydration. By removing the dead skin cells and cleaning out your pores, it will allow for a better absorption and deeper penetration from your moisturizers leaving the skin feeling more hydrated. They both have a lovely texture, washing away to leave the skin feeling revitalized, and is gentle enough to use every day.

The Biosource Softening Exfoliating Cleansing Gel for normal-combination skin, uses a balancing Zinc. Zinc is a known antioxidant that fights free radicals that contribute to premature ageing and is known for helping in skin regeneration. Zinc is also used in products aimed at combination skin types to control excess sebum production, and can help to clear up acne faster. Using this product which is gentle while still deeply cleansing the pores and removes the dead skin will be highly beneficial, to those with a combination skin type.

For a dry skin, using a fortifying Magnesium is known for strengthening the skin, as dry skin is known to be weaker and thinner. Magnesium also encourages the repair of the skins protective shield by playing a role in the basic metabolism functions. Magnesium is a very important ingredient for aiding in hydration, as well as reducing inflammation, which those with dry skin are often prone to. Thus, using this product will help to remove the dead skin cells while adding hydration and is gentle enough to not cause irritations.

For myself personally, I have a dry skin type, so for the past 5 days I've been using a sample I got at work of the Biosource Softening Exfoliation Cleansing Gel with Magnesium for dry skin. This was a great time for me to try a new exfoliation product, as I just got a break out due to stress, and was in need of a fix. I used this product every day in the morning and the evening massaging my face for 30 seconds and rinsed, ( as directed). I found this product was very soft, gentle and luxurious in texture. The micro beads are not rough on the skin, but still help to effectively remove the dead skin cells and cleanse the pores. It has a lovely fresh scent, like all of Biotherm's amazing products. I found this product to leave my skin feeling refreshed, revitalized and clean, as it helped to effectively clear up my break out. Once again, I give Biotherm a solid A+ review as the confirm their place as my favourite skin care line.
