Tell me, how did your snazzy clothier goblin get his start in fashion?

Gianni has been best friends with my other character Vito (twin to Vik the Shark) since they were kids. They both dreamed of becoming fashion designers and would dink around with making clothes starting around when they were ten (rich kids can do whatever they want, ya know?). Well, Vito had to give up his dreams in the early 20s when he had to start learning how to co-run the family mob. So Gianni took it upon himself to become what they had both dreamed of. He opened a little boutique, distanced himself from his own family by changing his name to Gianni Laframboise (instead of Giovanni ______ ) and has just been building up from there. Vito is stuck being a tailor to the family and a co-head of the mafia, and Gianni is becoming a world famous designer. Gianni credits Vito for a lot of it, and also produces some of his designs so they both sorta get to do what they always wanted, and he also always drags Vito along to fashion shows where they both geek out about clothes and such.
