This came to me in a vision

Toshiro is on the same level of importance as Falin to Laios... which could mean nothing.

Toshiro sees Falin and thinks "someone that is similar to me but can express their 'weird' side = suitable for a partner" and then he turns around to Laios and thinks "someone that is similar to me but can express their 'weird' side = jealousy that is misinterpreted as hatred"

I also think his supposed 'hatred' for Laios stems from the fact that he comes from a place where he has to actively compete with other men (ie the inheritance competition thing) IN THIS ESSAY I WILL-
