Yuuichi had finally gone to sleep after a restless night of nightmares ...Ken Kaneki was still recovering... and in a hospital gown, sweat pants, and slippers, but had gotten up to walk the hallways. He had certainly met a unique few people here already; but the last thing he expected was someone to appear from literally nowhere.
The flash was so blinding he thought he blacked out... And when he opened his eyes again ...A body of a young man lay before him.
“ ...A-Ah? ...H-Hello?? “
Oh god ..Did I attack someone? ...O-Oh ...god is there blood? Panicked thoughts swirled in his mind ....he didn’t know whether to call for help or check if he was dead himself.
“ ....A-Are you okay?? ”
Silence ....When Ken was convinced that they were unconscious or dead, he finally approached and knelt beside him, he could see him breathing, okay good.
Kaneki managed to carry him to a little lounge area... setting him on the couch... It was very early in the morning, not many were awake at these hours, but the young man didn’t seem hurt at least... Finally the one-eyed sat down on a nearby chair with a weary sigh... holding his head in his hands ....quiet.
What did I do? ...What was that light? I’m sure I blacked out.....Sh-Should I call for help?
He was so afraid ...he couldn’t trust himself anymore ...that was for certain.
