Lalna wrapped his arms around Ali from behind and pressed a kiss into her hair "i want a cat.." he mumbled against her hair.
Ali blinked as she shut her book, turning her head to look back at Lalna when he spoke and gave a soft hum. “A cat?” She echoed, sounding a little surprised.
“What brought that up so suddenly?”

Ali slowed down her writing to a stop when she felt fingers running through her hair, tangling themselves in it. She smiled as she knew who it was and placed her pen down, humming softly while tilting her head into the touch. It was easy to tell that it was Lalna. Her eyes didn’t even need to look to see the man that was standing behind her.
Eventually she moved her head, leaning it back so it was resting against the man’s stomach as she looked up at him with a warm smile. “Hello sweetheart.” She greeted, her voice sounding as sweet as the look she gave him.
[Here's the nerd] Loud crashes could be heard from Lalna's lab, combined with a shouting voice and stomping feet. He sounded angry, though his voice wasn't actually forming words, but his voice eventually faded once his voice cracked into nothingness. The crashes stopped soon after that too, everything fell into an eerie silence, and there wasn't a single movement to be heard from behind his lab door.
Ali tensed up at the crashing sounds from the labs below, quickly pulling her head up from the book she was reading that had more to do about dragon care. That didn’t sound good at all. She waited for things to fall silent before moving downstairs to the labs where she knew Lalna was hiding himself in.
“Lalna..?” She called as she knocked on the door before opening it, “Lalna are you alright?”

“You would want me to strip for you, wouldn’t you?” Ali teased with a small laugh as she pulled off her shirt and tossed it at the scientist.
Approaching her from behind Lalna wrapped his arms around Ali's middle and pressed a kiss into her hair "You've been hauled up in here with your books all day" he spoke softly into her hair, nuzzling at the soft strands "Come on, you need to relax"
Ali blinked when she felt arms around her, lifting her silver gaze from the bloodied pages of a tome she had used a while back. Really she hadn’t been doing much of anything aside from staring at the pages that were damaged with her own dried blood she had smeared on it. Spending the time wondering if it was such a good idea to have used its magics to help bring back someone who only tossed aside her sacrifice..
Her shoulders slumped as a soft sigh sounded from the huntress, leaning back against Lalna for some support. “Y-Yeah..” She agreed quietly, “I think I should... call it a night..”
Lalna crouches down to draw on her stomach, the fine tipped marker in his hand gliding over her skin while pens of other colours are on the floor by his knees. He bites his lips in concentration, falling into silence, and it takes a long while before he pulls back to look at what he has drawn with a grin on his face. There are lots of detailed butterflies drawn over her stomach and up her ribs, in varying colours and sizes, and they look as if they are flying upwards over her skin.
The huntress gave a small squeak when she felt the pen on her skin and did her best not to giggle at the tickling feeling. She even held up her shirt to keep it out of the way for him as he worked. Once he was finished she looked to see what he had done. “Oh wow! They’re so pretty!” She gasped, “I kinda wish I could make this into a tattoo or something. It’d be a shame to have it be washed away after a shower.”
Lalna grabbed a marker and took hold of her hand, holding it between his fingers and turning it so the underside of her wrist was looking up at him. He tilted his head as he drew on the skin before taking her other hand and doing the same, leaving one wrist with a sun drawn on it and the other with 'My sunshine' written in his unmistakable scrawl that didn't match how well the sun was drawn at all.
Ali blinked as she watched the scientist mark her skin with the ink of his maker. With how white her skin was, she was practically her own washable whiteboard or something close to it. Once he was done she looked at his handiwork and gave a small giggle. “This is so adorable, thank you Lalna!” She smiled, leaning up to give him a small kiss.

Ali blinked as she slowly scrolled through the story she had found on her phone. Her face started to turn a faint shade of blue that only got darker and darker as she continued. Soon enough she couldn’t read any further and pushed her phone away so she could hide her face in the couch pillows.
“O-Oh geez.. I didn’t think people could get that detailed!” She squeaked.
