Boyfriend accidentally ran my foot over after we pulled off to see a bull moose (im fine, just a bruise thank God).

There's absolutely someone who had the Yellowstone experience of seeing a young bull moose for the first time, basking in his gentleness as he ate willows, and then hearing a pissed off scream "you just ran over my fucking foot!!! 🤬🤬" reverberate through the Lamar valley.

If that was you, im so sorry for scaring him away, I was so angry I forgot he was right there 😭

Yellowstone Northern Tier Winter Travels

This is a winter of limited snowpack for Yellowstone Park’s northern tier landscapes. We will certainly come to rue this lack of usual winter weather next summer, but it’s made travel from the park’s north entrance near Gardiner, Montana, to Cooke City, Montana, easy to do. I have always wanted to get a "frosty bison" photo. I guess I can cross that off the list. That doesn't mean I won't go back for the "perfect shot" soon. I'm totally in love with Northern Yellowstone in winter.
