first off there is that ever present, ever unpopular non pony option. griffins are cool, too? right???? right???? yeah. you know there's a lot of mythology that's commonplace in mlp its like a dungeons and dragons game just waiting to happen.

anyway, I'm just going to go "oh hey she's a horse now" for the sake of my sanity. As she is a goddess and therefore equivalent to Celestia and Luna, at least, she is an alicorn! Her color scheme is the same, ( bless non human skin colors ) and her cutie mark is something like a skull, but definitely a more festive one. Like Pinkie grabbed a hold of that bad boy.

As for her role, she is definitely a sacred unknown figure in Equestria, and even where she comes from. She would not show up in the story proper, except for BIG SPOOKY sEASON FInALE EpIsODES OOOOOH CONflict. Or you know maybe she hangs out with daring do and punches ahuizotl in the face. Good times. Good times.

Twilight is too fascinated by her while Pinkie tried to eat here you know it is to be true. Rarity probably fawns over her fashion and Fluttershy is a wee bit scared of the death alicorn of death who totally does death things in equestria, too. also she's bros with celestia and luna, being like goddesses and all. she probably sympathises with luna, what with being associated with unpleasant things ( ey yo nightmare (k)night )
