who hogs the duvet: jim tends to because he likes cuddling it when they’re in his quarters. when they’re in spock’s, the temperature is always ungodly high so he doesn’t.
who texts/rings to check how their day is going: they both check on each other constantly tbh. it’s a little ridiculous
who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: jim
who gets up first in the morning: spock
who suggests new things in bed: they’re both pretty vanilla about sex because it’s more about the connection for them but. probably jim. however spock was the first to bring up telepathy in bed.
who cries at movies: jim
who gives unprompted massages: jim
who fusses over the other when they’re sick: jim is an open fusser. spock worries and fusses but in a way that he can deny it to anyone later
who gets jealous easiest: tbh spock?
who has the most embarrassing taste in music: they both do and they enjoy each other’s music
who collects something unusual: hmmm i’d say they both have some relatively weird collections.
who takes the longest to get ready: probably spock. i mean the dude clearly does his makeup every morning, so. plus he has to keep his hair trimmed.
who is the most tidy and organized: spock for sure
who gets most excited about the holidays: jim
who is the big spoon/little spoon: jim’s more of an octopus ie he just latches onto spock in whatever way he’s allowed, usually involving sprawling his limbs over his person
who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: spock says he’s not competitive but he is. jim seems like he’s competitive but really he’s just having fun
who starts the most arguments: they don’t argue too much but jim’s always the one to voice a problem where there is one. spock isn’t the type to bring up something that would intentionally lead to an argument. he might say something that jim then gets upset about, but he never brings stuff up with the anticipation of an argument
who suggests that they buy a pet: jim
what couple traditions they have: hmmm. they probably have a special meal every anniversary. because jim used to go a bit overboard with the anniversary stuff and spock had no idea what to get him and in the end they just settled on something minimal that still shows affection. so they’ll have a private, special meal, and sometimes jim might make a homemade gift and spock might compose him a song
what tv shows they watch together: idk what tv shows they have in the trek universe so. modern day jim would like anything with sci fi in it whereas spock really enjoys documentaries and nature channels.
what other couple they hang out with: uhura/her girlfriends
how they spend time together as a couple: they’re attached at the hip
who made the first move: canonically spock (”this simple feeling”). i feel like in aos it’d be jim that admits feelings first but spock that makes the first move some months later
who brings flowers home: spock tbh? it’s really cute
who is the best cook: they’re both decent at it but not great
