"--wait, how much?" Libby questioned, glancing over towards the stall in question. She'd limited herself to the amount in her purse, and yet the price of it would make a dent in even that.

"--wait, how much?" Libby questioned, glancing over towards the stall in question. She'd limited herself to the amount in her purse, and yet the price of it would make a dent in even that.
"Is... this your card?” he said, plucking out a seven of hearts from the cards he’d fanned out in his hands and presented it to the other person. One of the magicians let him borrow his deck after he wouldn’t stop following him around and bombarding him with questions about the trick he just did. So he’d been going around, asking people to pick a card, any card, then shuffling the deck and choosing a random one from it, hoping that his instinct would lead him to the correct one, though it was far from the standard magician procedure.
“Hm, looks like a bummer with that line, huh?” Liliana motioned to occupied line to the bar, a daring smile filling upon her lips while holding onto to her clutch while standing behind them. “I should’ve thought about sneaking in some into a flask. But, I was too chicken and knowing my luck, I feel like I would’ve gotten caught.” She acknowledged with a shrug, wandering dark hues around Westbrook Park. “Liking everything so far?”
While the fire breathers were blowing up the place, messing with the fire and the trapeze and acrobats in the background Chase watched. Hands in his pockets of his slacks. Sure it looked like he was un-amused with the straight line expression from his lips but he was actually studying in silence. Taking in the detail to attention as he soon looked over to see someone else. “Kinda makes you wonder how long it takes to train and practice for events like this?”
“Come on! Are you afraid of losing against me or what? It’s just a game. I’ll pay for it and all, but... if I win, you owe me a drink. And not one of the free ones here but a real one out there. In the real world.”
“Hey, were you the one asking about the open bars before?” Zoe asked, popping her head out a doorway to look at the person standing a few feet away. “Because there’s one in here with less people waiting in line, but if I were you, I’d hurry before the rumor spreads and everyone else gets to it.” She grinned a little and then waved them along. “Come on, no time for hesitating—”
“Okay, I could give two shits on acting like an adult tonight but I just saw the swings and I I think we should go on it. Especially seeing the weight line, it’s faith. After that, we can do whatever your heart desires. Drinking, eating, watching the acrobatics and hoping one of them falls.” Marina inquired hopeful, beaming as she became to bat painted coated eyelashes. In all hopes for them to tag along but she inquired another solution in the end ( if they didn’t enjoy the swings ).
“You think theres like a certain time they’re going to start serving the food, or is it a free for all?” There was a brief pause, “or is it another thing you have to pay for?” He looked around at no one else even eying it. But he was hungry. If they wanted him to play games all night fuel was a thing that needed to happen. “What if I just--” he reached out, snatching something that looked deliciously fried, popping it into his mouth. “Food theft: best theft.”
