Lapis (Ghost) Lazuli is one of the last Era 2 gems ever made. If Era 3 didn't come around when it did, she would have ended up getting shattered and recycled.

This is Sea Bunny Lapis, who I adopted from Crabeetle (who collab'd with apple).

Sea Bunny Lapis is part of a group of only a few specialized Lapis Lazuli variants like her that are tasked with scouting potential Gem colonies and making sure they are suitable for terraforming. As such, if Sea Bunny Lapis encounters danger from the planet's natives, she can turn water into poison that can be sprayed at her organic attackers.

She's used to her solitary work, being sent out to far off colonies, but she misses her Sea Bunny sisters, and has also always admired classic Lapis Lazuli gems. She dreams that if she weren't busy being a scout, she could actually do some terraforming herself, but her hydrokinesis is much weaker than that of a classic Lapis Lazuli. Therefore, she is always yearning for more from her life.

gemsona concept, asked a friend what gem they’d think i’d be and they said lapis/opal ! i went with lapis (i’m still trying to figure out an opal design) and i really like how it came out !
