Got a new laptop and this thing has ONLY usb-c ports. No standard usb. No sd card slots or what nots. Instead, it came with a fucking DONGLE TO PLUG IN TO LET YOU DO THAT STUFF??

Its a dell by the way. The first time i buy a dell and it wont even let me use a usb drive without a flimsy dongle.

Both my personal and my art laptops are fucked (first one is a glitching mess, the second, the frame decided to break so I couldn't close it)

I've sent my art laptop off right after Christmas, and I can't wait to get it back because I have so many sketches I want to digitally draw

IDK what I'm going to do about my personal one, but I'll probably get an estimate, and based on that, I'll either have it fixed or save up for a new one, but until then, no Steam games for me 🥲

Side note: I think I got my dad into Supernatural

so just yesterday i finally realized that i NEED a better computer, because this tiny Acer i have is not the best when it comes to running YouTube behind the Office suite. and it also doesn't want to save a new OS update to the 32 GB SDHC card i chucked in there last summer, so that should be fixed sometime near New Year's. but then it gets REALLY WEIRD because sometimes the browser only wants to load the basic HTML, as if HTML 5 and JavaScript and all that are too much to handle. my laptop needs help. i love it, but i seriously could use a better one at the same time

I hate my laptop so much. It has these moods where every 2 minutes it restarts without warning. It also has sound and screen glitches too. Took it to Geek Squad and thought they fixed it (they cleaned the fans with compressed air and I didn’t have to pay anything). But it went back to its old ways like the day after. Still hesitant to take it back because they said that if it wasn’t a hardware problem (like they originally thought) it was a software one. And I really don’t wanna upgrade my plan so I have software coverage. 

Thing is, it doesn’t feel like a software one. I only have a few programs installed on the laptop and I recently restored the system to semi-factory settings to start anew. I have the latest antivirus on it. What is wrong? I kinda don’t trust BB so maybe I’ll take it to another computer repair place. I’m trying so hard to hold out until Christmas when I plan on buying a new one. Even though I’ve barely had this one for a year.
