It’s amazing how the young people in Accra are supporting and pushing their favorite young artists. Within a month or two I’ve been to concerts that’s had mostly young & emerging artists headlining them. Some years back these guys would have been opening acts for the older/more popular artists, but now these young guys headline shows and pull crowds to the venues. The last time I posted about @lamemegram, it was about how they’ve owned the afro-Trap genre and how popular they’ve made it. With the release of their recent but no so recent album “Linksters” has pushed their popularity and that of their music a notch higher. And so it is no surprise to see them performing and headlining most of the major concerts in Ghana. Over the weekend, @lamemegram @1realjoeyb together with @theriaboss headlined the @jamesongh Connect concert at the LA Raceway. They, as usual, brought the heat to the party. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ PS: Ghanaian artists should really bargain for good sound at shows. I think a good sound contributes immensely to the whole performance. Eg. the Jameson Connect concert was well organized but the sound wasn’t too good. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ 📷: Nana Osei - 2019 . . . #laraceway #accra #la #ghana #africa #jameson #jamesonconnectsgh #music #concert #lameme #linksters #joeyb #riaboss #sound #artists #afrotrap #genre #ashantiimmigrant #streetstyle #streetphotography #everydayafrica #dynamicafrica #visiterlafrique #accrawedey (at Accra, Ghana) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw2dktrg2ZT/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=cwhl47o85ggr
