SFW Larry Headcanons: Dinner

As Larry is a regular at the Japanese restaurant, that so happens to be his gym, he would want to take you to a different restaurant.

It would also take some time to get him to actually take you out for dinner, between his responsibilities as gym leader, the elite four and his office job, he gets busy.

While he has that depressed, tired businessman look and feel to him, he'd be a lot more lively when he is with you.

In fact, he looks forwards to enjoying a meal out with you. Being around/with you is refreshing for him. It's like a breath of fresh air compared to the dull office life or the bit of excitement when he gets the chance to battle.

As Larry is not one to be extravagant, dinners with him are typically more relaxed/laidback. On special occasions, he'd get you a bouquet of flowers. Other times, he'd get you a singular flower to put in your hair.

As his s/o, you get to see more of his soft and lively side, other than just his dry humor that most people would see.

Headcanon:

Whenever his younger sisters got injured, Louis would always take care of them and place a kiss over the plaster for "healing magic". One time, before they got together, Harry scraped his wrist when they were playing a game. Even though Harry protested that he was okay, Louis insisted on cleaning it up and putting a cover over it. He gets so lost in the motions that he momentarily forgets who he's helping and, when done placing the plaster, presses a kiss to Harry's wrist.

They both freeze, Louis out of embarrassment, and Harry out of shock. Louis reluctantly looks up at Harry, still holding Harry's wrist, and sees Harry's gaze focused on his lips. He takes a deep breath and tugs Harry forward, kissing him for the first time.

I agree with you Gina in terms of H signing on for these stunts. I think over the last 10 yrs H & L have learned (the hard way) how this industry works and how to play the game. It is my personal headcanon that they have carved out a pretty decent private life together, and they are living pretty happily in terms of their relationship. Now if doing these stunts and pr relationships allows them to fully protect their relationship and private life together, then why wouldn’t you agree to it? Now I do fully believe one day when they feel the time is right they will bring their relationship out loud and proud. They know we are here supporting them and by giving us subtle hints and nods makes me feel they are nurturing our support until the time comes when they will 100% count on it. In the meantime if they have to participate in these ‘business’ arrangements in order to build on their careers to strengthen their future especially if kids are in their future then it’s really a no brainer. Granted Louis’ situation is still not ideal but I do feel that he is finding ways to dig himself out from underneath it all and he’ll be this Phoenix rising from the ashes, but he’s doing that with a loving partner and pretty solid relationship by his side every step of the way. It gives me comfort imagining them sitting at the dining table over an evening meal catching up on the daily headlines about themselves, laughing hysterically, while sending photos of Clifford or graffiti’d perfume bottles to El. Olivia will disappear, and if H didn’t manage to push her in the lake during their latest walk then I’m sure Louis can come up with another dastardly plan. Anyway as painful and annoying as these stunts are for us to witness, if they help to protect their private life and their relationship then Olivia and El can wear all the beanies and old promo clothes they like really. One day our boys will be free and living their best lives together but until then we’ll be here meme’ing, and laughing, and eye-rolling our way through.
