when did rbb deactivate their phone number? And does anyone know if the twitter handle is still unavailable?

first off sorry for the late reply!

We have a wonderful account here @rbbsphone, who since the bears "went into hibernation" periodically checked if the phone number was still active. Their last post (as of today) was on 25 March 2022 and it said "I just tried it [...] and it’s still working as normal".

Then, on 26 October 2023, the RBB_updates account tweeted "[...] the RBB and SBB official phone number, +44 7492 817894, is no longer in service. We have had multiple people attempt to reach the number with no luck and a pop up that says “number not valid”. We have been told that a few texts have gone through, but no calls." and the replies to that tweet confirmed that texts seemed to go through, but with calls the line constantly said "line busy". I don't know if any of you have tried calling or texting the number lately?

The bears' 2nd official Twitter account, Rbbsbbofficial, last changed on 7 Dec 2015.. Harry left LA and arrived in London. The location update changed immediately from "LA" to "Home, soon to return.....!".

Louis stayed in LA and only left in the night of Dec 7 2015. The second Louis got home, he tweeted: "🏠"

.. and on 12/13 Feb 2016 (discovered on 12/13 Feb 2016) the Rbbsbbofficial Twitter account was deactivated. (btw, that first link leads to an amazing resource and searchable databank about all of RBB and SBB's appearances, outfits, and props).

The username didn't become available again, even after the usual 30 days after account deletion. And yes, to this day, Rbbsbbofficial doesn't exist and isn't available. When researching, I found a few Reddit posts of other Twitter (and then X) users, complaining about the same issue with other usernames, so it could be a common issue with Twitter. Or the username could've been disabled from further use from Twitter's side. It's probably pretty impossible to say for sure at the moment.
