I had a question about petitioning. In my first year at york (3 yrs ago) I failed a HUMA course and I didn't know I was able to remove it from my transcript. My question is, am I now able to apply for a petition? Will it be taken into consideration that it was my first year or is it already too late? It's a fail and it brought my average down alot.
It’s already too late if you’re in third/fourth year now. Typically, that petition is submitted 30 days after the course has ended. You could submit it up to a year as well, but you’d have to give a reason as to why it was being submitted so late.
