Ryland let out a small breath as he paced quietly around the park.

He always felt a small amount of ANXIETY when it came to meeting with Carlee, considering how things were going between them at that point. While he was able to keep himself composed, he felt he could always see her HATE burning through him in her gaze. The only time things seemed slightly relaxed is when they were with Elina together. With her, they had to hide that. That’s why he didn’t quite mind picking Elina up at the park today, seeing as it was public and he got to be with his little girl again.

He gaze turned from the grass and the sky when he heard footsteps getting closer to him. A smile crossed his lips as the two of them approached, moving over to gently kiss Elina’s head.

“How’s my little girl doin’?”

He then turned his gaze up to Carlee and let out as mall breath, keeping a faint smile on his lips so Elina might not think anything was wrong.

“What time should I get her ready for you?”

This was incredibly hard for her,

but she was relieved that the woman was willing to accept her offer of making it up to her in some way. She absolutely ADORED the dress, and with the woman seeming so DETERMINED for her to have it, even saying it looked perfect on her, she knew she had to see her again while also repaying a debt that would choke her if she didn’t. A timid smile crossed her lips as she gazed at her, turning her gaze down to the dress for a moment.

“That sounds perfect... W-When does your shift end?”

Now that she thought about it, she could actually use this an excuse to go out in the dress already. It was perfect for going on an outing with someone and since it was just coffee, it wouldn’t get damaged, especially since she would be more careful than ever. Perhaps it would even make the woman DELIGHTED to see her in it in public.

Today was an off day for Anna,

one of the few days out of a month that she was given in order to wander and get her ALONE time. She used to have someone with her whenever she went out on these days, but due to her INTENSE fear of trying to run away again, they soon felt it was no longer necessary. But, although she was alone, she always felt like there were eyes on her in every possible direction. Perhaps it was just her PARANOIA.

She let out a small huff, trying her best not to think about it as she started to lightly rub her hands together, gently breathing her warm breath into them to try and warm them up in the cold weather. Though, she was quickly halted when she came across a dress shop, her eyes immediately catching a dress that was in the window. She came to a stop, turning her gaze up to it for a moment as she inspected it. It was a long sleeve dress with blue and white, frills at the bottom of it, and something she instantly fell in love with.

She moved her frame to walk inside of the store, looking around quietly before finding the woman at the counter that seemed to own the store, a delicate smile crossing her lips as her small frame approached her.

“E-Excuse me... W-Would it be possible... for me t-to try on that d-dress in the window...? Th-The blue and white one...”

He tone was very soft and TIMID, her eyes finding it a bit hard to maintain eye contact, but she was doing her best.

Anna had quite a long day.

She had to get up quite early that morning, seeing as Mr. Leighton wanted to be sure she was out while it was still dark out and a bit more DANGEROUS in terms of the types of monsters that were out and about. The outfit that was picked out for her that day was a light blue dress with a white cardigan, along with white heels that weren’t too high and rather MODEST. Though, with her type of monster, it was strange to wear such UNCOMFORTABLE shoes, and it was almost a bit difficult to even begin getting used to them. But despite that, she kept her smile on her face, looking for troubled monsters (as she could sense their aura) and simply remained in her place.

Though, as the hours rolled on, less monsters were starting to become apparent. So she spent most of her time quietly sitting on the park bench with her legs swinging back and forth. These hours of the day where she could be a bit more FREE was just about the only time of day she could RELAX. Though that was quickly taken away when she heard the very recognizable padding of dog paws coming towards her.

“E-Eh...?”

She lifted her head, looking over at where the sound was coming from. It seemed that a woman’s dog was dragging her over to her, and out of completely PANIC, she quickly got up from her seat and took a step back, her hands balling into fists against her chest as she watched the fellow canine, NERVOUS it would attack her.

The school building’s rooftop had always been his favourite place to escape to during breaks. It provided him some sort of freedom, especially because it was only then that he dared to pull down his hoodie as long as he was on the school campus. (Then again, it would have been a lot easier for him to just keep his cat ears hidden, but he had grown so used to them that he felt deaf whenever he relied on his human ears.) The summer months were the nicest, seeing that the warm weather easily allowed for him to relax properly - only to then get up quite grumpily when the school bell signaled that break was over. Like now.

Stretching himself slightly, Ichigo stood up while hiding a yawn behind his palm, the sleepiness still written all over his face as purple hues blinked up at the sun shining above him. Had it really been twenty minutes already? Somehow, it felt as if he had just laid down when the bell rang again. With one hand absentmindedly arranging his raven tresses, the hybrid reached out to open the door to the hallway - and he let out a surprised gasp as he found himself face to face with none other than his own teacher. “... uhm--”
