My project for the last like week or so had been these fancestors for my trolls, I’m super proud of this one and how everyone turned out!!

I’ve only ever fully designed two of them and 10 days ago i got a sudden inspiration to just sketch all of them in a frenzy and now we’re here with 7 full ancestor illustrations! As always click for better quality and for the names in the alt text~

The Undertaker, Ivisuf’s ancestor; A local grave digger who’s graveyard is filling with the bodies of mistreated trolls in the hands of the Empress.

The Chambermaid, Roslag’s ancestor; The Empress’ personal maid, her horns have been cut because the Empress doesn’t allow her servants to have taller horns than her.

The Soothsayer, Optima’s ancestor; A well know and talented oracle, her visions are always right. Does work for the empire when asked, mostly keeps to her own devices. Due to her reputation of being right the time she has a doomed vision does not end well for her....

The Announcer, Coiden’s ancestor; An anti-imperialist reporter who has made it his mission to spread the word of the Empress’ wrong doings, especially about how she treats her staff.

The Draftsman, Rifurm’s ancestor; A talented designer and tailor, held captive in the palace to act as the Empress’ personal designer and stylist. Very much does not like his job, but can’t even plot an escape because he’d be killed. He can’t have that happen, his matesprit would be all alone if he died..

The Gumshoe, Zelast’s ancestor; A private legislacerator and investigator. Even though he recieves empire funding sometimes he’s still conducting his own investigation against the empire on behast of rumours of the Empress’ wrong doings.

The Lyncher, Plixil’s ancestor; A high ranking laughssassin on the empire’s payroll. Complains that the Empress has her do too much work which distract her form her duties as a clown church kids recruiter.
