A family shares a house. Every week, after laundry, the clean clothes are set in a room for, in theory, each member of the household to take their own articles of clothing and put them in their own closet. However, the mother offers to do it for all of them. She says that she really doesn't mind, and that she likes knowing things in other people's rooms are well-organized. The oldest child refuses to let the mother do it and organizes their clothing themselves, which the mother finds silly. The youngest, who is 18, lets her. The 18-year-old never explicitly asks for the mother to fold their clothes and organize them in their closet, but they know she does it and never objects to it. Even if the 18-year-old is in their room when the mother comes in with the clothes, they just watch her organize without offering to take over.
Is it acceptable to make fun of that 18-year-old because of this?
Yes, absolutely
No, but the 18-year-old shouldn't let their mother do the work for them like this
No, and there is nothing wrong with this arrangement
. Not sure
