“Burn baby, BURRRRNNNNN” was an exclamation from some old biker flick sampled on the Savage Pencil Presents: Angel Dust - Music For Movie Bikers soundtrack comp, but really, the phrase should be repurposed for Let America Pay because it...BURRRNNNNS. Jah Nada is known for his drum and stringed instrument work with Day Creeper, OBNOX, Sex Tide and a buncha other worthy Columbus-based detonations...BLOODY SHOW is his baby though, fleshed out to a solid trio with Laura J on drums and Ian G on bass guitar, everything full throttle with crackling/cracked guitar tone, mixed within an inch of its life. The songs are top notch as well, and while they do indeed rip, they also bleed with an astute and unforgiving luminosity, i.e., these ain’t just some one dimensional goners. Far be it for FRR to tell you what the real deal is, but you may wanna hold up on whatever mail order you’re considering and check this out, right now. Make no mistake, America is gonna pay for its transgressions and you’re doomed no matter what, but you might as well have this cassette playing when our self-made apocalypse arrives at your door.
