I’m not sold on the chemistry yet but there is something about Ross being into Laurel that does make sense to me somehow. They have struggled to pair him with anyone since Donna, they tried with Debbie, they tried with Rebecca and Steph (who was the least successful of the 3 imo)
Laurel isn’t Donna but she is the love interest who is the most like her in terms of aura and personality. Far more so than the posh women and the walking misery that was Debbie Dingle. So I do buy Ross being drawn to her and I buy Laurel being flattered and being drawn in.
