Everyone is in bed, so it's just me on the sofa, with my book. I'm 37 pages in which is the most I've read of anything since having Freya (what is 'me' time again!?). This is my #filterfree picture for the night. The room is a mess, there are toys, clothes and bottles over the floor - and we were only home after our London trip for an hour before the little lady fell asleep. I might tidy up before I go to bed, I might not. It's been an emotional day, as I met with work to discuss my impending return and to organise a few days for me to 'refresh' myself and attend a few meetings so I'm in the loop with the changes that have occurred while I've been gone. So the reality of only having 14 weeks left until I have to leave my baby for 50-60 hours a week so I can help make sure she can eat, has a place to live etc. has started to hit home. Add that to the fact that she turns 6 months old tomorrow and I'm not ashamed to say there have been a fair amount of tears today. Why does time go so fast? And who replaced my newborn with this beautiful child whose smile melts my heart, who waves like the queen and who would literally sit and blow raspberries until the cows came home (I have a feeling that #thisgirlisrebel).
