Hello, Ace Attorney fandom, I came up with a new ship in the shower today:

Viola Cadaverini/Lauren Paups.

Think about it.

Both of them have had terrible garbage boyfriends that didn’t actually care about them and coerced them into helping their murder schemes, which Viola and Lauren ended up regretting.

We know for a fact that Lance was in debt to Viola - maybe the reason Viola kept sending Lance threatening letters wasn't just because of the money, but she saw that Lance was treating her badly, and it reminded her of unpleasant memories of Tigre?

They’re both shy and introverted but in COMPLETELY opposite ways - the contrast is both cute and funny. (Also, goth/femme dichotomy. Yes.)

Lauren has her usual external monologues (at least one of which could be about finding out she likes women), and Viola definitely thinks all of her monologues are low-key adorable; Viola comes off as terrifying to everyone else but in several of her monologues Lauren ends up revealing that she thinks Viola is gorgeous, which embarrasses her; that sort of thing!

And finally, they’re both about the same height so it’s very easy for them to smooch. (Sure, there’s a six-year age difference, but A. that’s less than Maggey and Gumshoe, and we love Maggey and Gumshoe, and B. I literally do not care about age differences in most of my ships anyway, so why start now?)
