"I'm with you! Let's give it our all!" Job: Outlander (DPS) Weapons: A bow and arrows. Lightning Magic. AI Behavior: Despite joining the Eorzean Alliance along with the Dalmascan Resistance front, there is still a hesitance in combat, therefore Laurla will sometimes join the fight 5 to 10 seconds after it's began. Since she's a Archer, she is ranged, and will never be in melee range (probably to the reluctance of healers, as she tends to stay well away). With magic capabilities, Laurla tends to weave occasional lightning spells into her arrow attacks, inflicting paralyzing affects at a 30% chance. Usually will not use Limit Break unless absolutely necessary, leaving it to the professionals (aka melee dps). She works better with Nero rem Castulus ( @allag-one ) in the party as tank, as he keeps her grounded. Otherwise, Laurla is a reliable DPS, if with her own funny little quirks. Her dps output is actually pretty decent for a ranged attacker. She won't let you down. Battle Lines: "This ends here for you!" - Starting Attack Line "Don't bother running now! We have you!" - Using Specialty Skills, Variation 1 "Tired yet?!" - Using Specialty Skills, Variation 2 "Are you okay? Let me help!" - Assisting an Ally Limit Break: "Don't fuck up- don't fuck up..." - Using Limit Break 1 "Hey, look over there! Gotcha!" - Using Limit Break 2 "I won't hesitate!! Never again!" - Using Limit Break 3 KO'd: "No... I'm...not ready yet." - Variation 1 "Don't forget...me..." - Variation 2 Revived: "This isn't...over yet." - Variation 1 "Is that...the best you can do? I could do worse." - Variation 2 BONUS:There's unique banter between Laurla and Nero if brought together. While in battle he will instruct her with oddly calm and comforting words unlike if they are separated (see, being absolutely sarcastic and asshole-y comments at other party members for their 'incompetence' especially if dps is slow), and likewise Laurla's usually tense nature seems more relaxed and she will speak more. Outside of combat, Laurla and Nero will always walk along side each other, unless she sees something amazing, which she will run in front, and urge him to hurry, and he will chastise her for being too reckless. If faced with Garlean higher up enemies, Laurla is 100% more aggressive, and will actually be in melee range. These are enemies she wishes to see her (possibly because they might recognize her). If faced with Garlean lackies, she won't hesitate but she will attempt to reason with them. In downtime, aka afk player, Laurla can be seen doing the /lookout emote looking at the sights. If she is with Nero, and he is in idel pose leaning against something, arms crossed, Laurla will be at his side mirroring his posture comically, definitely teasing him. In desert dungeons, Laurla will comment about Dalmasca fondly.
