☾: Favorite moment from your Muse’s canon, and why.Anabel wasn’t really around very long, but we did get a lot of information thanks to Mr. Looker & Nanu. I’ll admit that on the surface it’s not a particularly fascinating history (after all, we don’t even get her perspective on it), but I love that when you dig deeper it’s really complex and insinuates that Interpol is more than a little dark. The amnesia angle is great (it has personal meaning to me), but what I like best about it is that she’s been lied to for the last ten years for reasons that aren’t explained to the player so much as thrown out there. It’s terrible for Anabel, obviously, because it seems clear to me that the truth is going to come out sooner or later*, and it’s going to be really hurtful, but it’s the kind of content I eat up as a writer. Having some measure of freedom to determine why she was kept in the dark is nice, too.

*My personal headcanon is that she ended up in this dimension because she never existed/no longer exists here (was never born or died young); it explains why she was in the wormhole so long (couldn’t exit until she stumbled on a dimension that she didn’t exist in already). But to reference our thread, it’s possible that Anabel did exist in this particular dimension for a time, and thus Asuna may have actually seen a much younger Anabel many years ago–one that died. I typed all of this to say that if the truth does come out, it won’t be because she runs into a double of herself. But there are a lot of characters who could push her to question her situation…or could outright tell her the truth. And if Asuna definitely did recognize Anabel as an adult woman though she’d only ever seen her as a child, it wouldn’t be an issue; she might pass it off as a relative or just an odd sort of occurrence: nothing earthshattering. 

☂: Favorite kind of weather. Sunny and summertime. I’ll take a good thunderstorm, too, but only if it’s warm out.

●: If you could say just one thing to your Muse, what would it be? “You’ll be all right!” She’s not very good at asking for help for herself, even when she needs it, and she’s really been through a lot. As the mun, I have to think about how her life has formed, how it’s been shaped, really, by her circumstances. There is a gaping hole where her entire childhood and young adult life was; that’s scary to deal with, this lack of knowing who you are–something we who have most of our memories to draw upon take for granted sometimes. She’s had ten years to try and make new memories and put things together, try to forge a new self, but the holes are still there, and they always will be.

remembrance: the act of remembering something-less: suffix meaning “without”; in adjectives derived from verbs, it indicates failure or inability to perform/be performed.

Ten years of dealing with this and I feel that Anabel is at a point in her life where she’s somewhat content with the person she believes she is. But when she finds out the truth about her situation: that she’s never been anything more than a tool for Interpol all these years…it’s going to change everything. So in advance I feel like she needs to be told that everything will be okay.

I saw people having a lot of fun here in the Pokemon RP community, and I wanted to participate. I like writing, I had free time, and I have a muse for Lillie, so I decided to make a blog! I don’t regret it.

I love pasta, and if no one stopped me I would eat it daily. My BF and I make pasta constantly. I think I have about 10 different kinds in the pantry right now. Though honestly, part of that is just living on a college student budget.
