Oh god, we just had to read Of Mice and Men for class, and it was one of the best books I've read. Something about soul-crushing, feels-destroying books *cough and fanfic cough* are appealing to me. Man, I dunno, I just think a story can only make you intensely emotional if it's well written. Ergo, sad stories=good shit

Well, there were plenty of sad stories I had to read in high school that didn’t appeal at all *cough* My Antonia *cough* but yes, it’s skill, not just a sad concept, that really delivers that gut-punch to the heart. Steinbeck knows how to do tragedy right. It’s all so...inevitable.

Hello! I was just wondering (for the sake of my sanity because I'm literal trash and is in love with so many fictional characters) is Lomyss going to be a bigger part of the story then a failed assassin? Also, how old is he?

Six Skeletons, One Maid Idea? Possibly? If this doesn't interfere with the angsty backstory?

”Hello! I really like your Six Skeletons, One Maid fanfic and I kinda thought of something maybe? Well, I guess that was obvious because of the title, but, um, yeah… ANYWAY!

So what if…

Y/n was out shopping like she usually does when she hears a song that she knows. She starts to hum along and tap her foot a little, but then gets into the full swing of things and sings along, dancing with her groceries. This catches one of the shopper’s eyes, and they start to record her. The next time she goes out, someone approaches her. They’re a big time producer and want y/n to join their company. She’ll be famous, dance and sing to her heart’s content, and be rich. Filthy rich. She wouldn’t need her maid job anymore. She asks them for a couple days to think it over, and they agree. Back at the manor, she asks Papyrus if he wants to join her in fulfilling her dreams. Papyrus is delighted, and the word spreads around the manor. Of course the skelebros are against this (except Papyrus who insists on visiting often.) They do everything they can to stop her, but to no avail. In a last ditch attempt, someone says that Green is coming again, and she’ll miss her chance to say her final goodbyes if she leaves now. This makes her stay for a bit longer. With the little stall time they have left, they convince the producer guy that she’s not interested. He leaves. She misses her chance at leaving and to top it all off, Green was never coming in the first place. After that, she just doesn’t care anymore. She doesn’t react to anything anymore. No more sarcasm or sass, only emptiness. Whenever Black yells at her, she just complies with whatever ridiculous request he has, throwing him off. She doesn’t acknowledge Red’s flirty remarks and just stares blankly, making Red feel… Guilt? Orange tries to get her to read his fanfiction again, but she just states that she has a lot of work. She doesn’t smile around Blue, or even Papyrus anymore. And now she avoids Sans even more than she did before. All of her work is done perfectly, but sometimes they’ll notice stray tears on the counter here and there. Oh boy did they mess up. How will they fix it? Well, I’m not really sure how the rest of the story will play out, but it’d have to be something big. But they still won’t just let her go so easily. So for a while, they won’t know what to do, and she’ll just be empty. So very empty…

Um, yep! That was my silly little idea. It probably wouldn’t fit into the story too well, and I basically just spoiled an entire chapter even if it did sooooooo… I just wanted to put that out there and see your thoughts on it. Just kind of a “What if” scenario. But maybe, if you’d like, and it’s not too much to ask, I could turn it into a oneshot that has nothing to do with the story itself? Just a fan-based interpretation sort of-ish thing to submit… Uh, this is just kinda me rambling now…

Anyway! I really like your story and I just kinda thought of this yesterday! You don’t have to take it in seriousness, or even post it at all! I just kinda wanted to get it out there. Thank you for making this fanfiction! Sorry for the long submission (^-^ ;)”

Oh wowzers let the angst rise, and there was no happy ending to that idea either... I LOVE IT super genius and angsty I WANT MORE! I mean, thanks for the idea, and I just might use something similar, but I have plans for some similar angst so get prepared for that. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SUBMITTING ME THIS IDEA THO!!
