He- he didn't need that much stuff...
There is only one thing that people are talking about in the baseball world right now, and that is of course the commissioner scandal. We stopped by the clubhouse and asked our players their thoughts on the matter.
Rose: "Quite disappointing, I must say. He brings shame on our beautiful sport."
Stephanie: "Shame and the evil eye. I'm going to have to sacrifice somebody to appease the gods' wrath."
Kaori: "I don't care who's in charge or what they did as long as I can play baseball."
Lawrence: "What was he commissioning anyway? Fanart of his fursona? Because there's nothing wrong with that."
Sharon: "The problem isn't that he did bad things. It's that he got caught. And, honestly? Skill issue."
Fanmail Friday
Hello everyone, and welcome to the first edition of #fanmailfriday. Here, we answer all the questions that fans (such as you!) send us on this blog. Unfortunately, we cannot answer each and every question, as there's simply too many of them for our small social media team to handle — but we hope that you will be satisfied with our selection! So, without further ado, here's this week's #fanmailfriday:
How is Oikonomou pronounced?
ee-ko-NO-moo. However, Rose insists that everyone should call her “My lady” or "Your Highness". Only Lawrence actually does it.
Does Stephanie actually have magical powers?
Well, at the very least her teammates seem to believe so. But we’ve never caught her flying on a broom or anything.
How does Gianna find the time to be both a professional baseball player and a successful jazz musician?
She brings her saxophone to practice and plays whenever she has a moment, or to be more exact, whenever she feels like it. Management has tried everything to get her to stop, to no avail.
Does Shoeless wear shoes?
Yes, of course. In fact, when he's not on the field, he always wears his trademark leather shoes. He shines them every morning.
Is Sara actually good at baseball?
According to current stats, she is not the worst player on the team.
Get to know the players! Today, we asked Lawrence Lodge to explain his dislike of MLB:
"The performance, for starters, is one of the worst on the Switch. Plus, Luigi's automated controls in the overworld and his role in puzzle-solving with the Luigi Logic mechanic are awful, not to mention the game's writing overall. It's just a disappointing game," he explained, looking genuinely dejected.
