Robin x Law modern AU ✈️🤍🩺
Inspired by Oda's SBS answers about what the Straw Hats and Worst Generation rookies might do in the real world.
A flight attendant and a doctor may seem like very different professions, yet both are devoted to caring for others. One offers comfort during a journey. The other helps people heal.
Perhaps that is why this pairing felt so natural to imagine: two people carrying the same kindness in different ways.
Hey Glooum! I wonder if I'm the first one. Thank you for your wonderful offer for sketching any ideas we might have. I'm usually bad at this, but LawBin, and maybe an idea I had in a fic. Robin's painting Law's toenails (black or glitter) and her spare fingers are kind of keeping his toes separated like those toe separator things (I hope that makes sense). They're very comfortable with each other, cos they're besties, and Law's relaxed while she's doing this, but of course Robin is in control. (Like, on lawn chairs, modern AU, and Law is NOT allowed to move until the nail polish is dry). Bepo paints Law's toes on occasion, but he chooses red and it goes everywhere, but Law can't get angry (that's just background info, haha) Hope I haven't asked too much or too little ❤️

Note: I’m quite hesitant about Robin’s eye color. In the manga, Oda colored Robin’s eyes brown, but the anime went with blue-green instead. It’s really difficult.
Law x Robin Modern AU headcanos:

Law is a Surgeon/Medical professor at a university.
He is that kind of professor who is chill , yet strict.
Most of his students are scared of him.
He starts his class with a recitation; asking them about the 3 chapters they've read from last night.
He loves performing demonstration with his students at the operations.
Coffee™ is is staple drink. He carries it every morning and even during classes.
Law doesn't talk much with his colleagues, he prefers spending his time reading medical books in his own library.
Sometimes he is 1 hour late in his class, and scoffs if any of his students would ditch his class, but in return, he would gave them an activity as a punishment.
He would sometimes joke on a corpse's entrails with a poker face in the morgue in front of his students.
His students would point out and compliment his exposed tattoos that he usually hide because of the university's premises.
He plays word games and puzzles on his phone while waiting for his students to finish the exams.
During free time, Law would give his students some brain teasers and would reward them additional points and some GCs at a café.
He lets his students finish their reports first before adding comments.
After school, he would drive straight to his clinic or would come home late straight to bed.
Robin is a PhD professor of Archeology:
She is loved by all. Be it a faculty member, student, or a staff.
Her teaching methods is loved by her students. She connects real life and current happenings in her lessons.
She starts her class with a few minutes of discussion from the last night's news and would continue with their lecture and a small seatwork at the end of the class.
She is strict in her own ways; when a student summited their paper late, she would never accept it anymore.
When a number of her students would ditch her class, she would just chat the remaining students about dark humor and scary mythology and would remind them that there would be a long quiz by tomorrow.
She enjoys spending time with her fellow faculty members and, sometimes, her students at the university library.
She offers free tutorials and short classes with her students who have bad grades and they would later thank her with simple tokens or a cup of coffee.
She enjoys to roam around and peeks onto her students' answers during exams and would made teasing expressions in front of them.
In recitations, she would sometimes insert comments between her students' presentation. She adds fun facts and asks them to be clear if it was vague.
After school, she always straight home to take care of her flowers.
Their relationship:
