24) Do you have a collection of anything?
do I?! oh boy. I collect vintage and antique photographs, from Daguerreotypes to 1960s. I collect vintage clothes, jewelry and hand bags. I have stuff from ancient Egypt all the way to the 1970s. I have a collection of antique books, the oldest being from 1809, and I collect reference bookc on subjects like architecture and fashion history. I collect perfumes and scented oils, glass bottles, and anitque/vintage furniture. I’m sure there’s more but that’s off the top of my head.
61) Are you wearing socks right now?
nope, I’m under blankets
78) Can insanity bring on more creativity?
idk if it brings on creativity or just that being neurodivergent can make it easier for one to access creative areas of the brain. By eliminating the use of areas of the brain that are commonly devoted to social interaction and the like, you can then dedicate your thoughts to more outside streams. I suppose it would allow you to see things in a way most people don’t. Being more aware of things as they are, and seeing the world in certain lights can actually cause mental illnesses to become exasperated in my opinion, when you can see how awful people can be and you lose hope, you then become inspired to make art representing these feelings.
95) You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere. You have to depart right now. Where are you gonna go?
Nepal and Tibet! I want to see the mountains.
Shooting Star (always my favorite!)

Hey, Anna! I just saw your Christ Gethard piece in the first issue of Bad Movies. Station Theater in Houston, where I do improv, is hosting a comedy festival, Trill Comedy Festival, next weekend, and Chris is our headliner! (I'm doing a workshop with him Saturday!!!!) Our mascot: An orange astronaut! :) Just wanted to say, I love your future-seeing piece. I shared it with my fellow Stationauts!
That’s awesome! Thank you for telling me about it. And I’m very glad you liked it (:
Tales from Improv Class (#3)
So, last night at improv, I decided to try to work out one of my sketch ideas. My character was the person who had just seen a great musical performance, but was completely sidetracked by a wardrobe malfunction, a la Lenny Kravitz #penisgate.
So, I was just going to keep bringing the conversation back to “cock”. I was totally set on using that word. (I learned it’s second meaning from The Bob many moons ago, so it’s my preferred term.)
And it was terrible. My partner was pretty good, but I think he got surprised that I said cock, and didn’t know where to go with the scene. It just bombed.
Afterward, I kind of felt bad. Maybe I’m just not good at improv. I felt like maybe I steam-rolled him or was just no-ing him the whole time Blargh!
Anyhoo -- I stand behind my idea, though. I’m going to sketch it out for Sketch Squad.
My other scenes weren’t much to talk about, but I did get to sing a theme song for a fake sitcom, and I love writing and singing fake songs, so that was fun. I can’t sing for shit, but I like silly little songs.
I also did my first sweep edit! That was fun.

Ha thank you :D A lot of those wires weren’t connected to anything. It was kinda satisfying untangling it all

I wish. My dad is too cheap to get a new laptop - the computer I hooked up was a spare that his girlfriend gave him. The old computer that I was replacing was broken for like 3 years and really needed to be tossed anyway.

Bob reading from A Load of Hooey on Conan...
Lind-z, did you video Bob reading “Meaningful Poem” at the bookstore? The one about ice cream? It’s my favorite for obvious reasons...
layesica said: Did I do that wrong? lol I don’t know the difference between Ask a Question and Fan Mail.
eh, it worked out. I love a good chance to talk about myself in a positive way, I get too down sometimes, especially this week
