Her face was as bright as a red Christmas light. She had been complimented by many people about her looks, and it was always such a lovely thing to hear but when it came from Matt—it was something she couldn’t explain. Not only did Layla’s cheeks turn red, but her heart raced and stomach fluttered. He sure did have a way with words, she constantly reminded him of that. “Thank you, Sir.” The submissive responded finally, after having a moment to try and collect herself and walked towards him sitting down on his lap, arms naturally wrapping around his neck to hold herself in place. “I think you’re incredibly handsome, but you already knew that so not much surprise there.” She laughed and planted a few small kisses on his neck, then rested her head on his shoulder as her fingers trailed up and down his chest.

🌸 Putting a flower in their hair (Laymatt)

Matt invited Layla to go into the city one weekend There was no destination in mind and after a couple weeks on the school property he knew it was time for a change in scenery. As they walked he brought up questions, things he wanted to know about Layla’s life. The way she excitedly pieced together a story caused him to smile and laugh; amused that she found so much joy in this most people take for granted.

During their walk, Matt’s hands in his pocket while Layla’s arm looped around his, he saw a flower stand on the corner. His eyes went to Layla, her hair swept away from her face and in a nice bun. She’d look beautiful with a nice flower to compliment the hairstyle. He didn’t know which to pick exactly, but something bright to match her dress and makeup would be good.

When they got near Matt excused himself and went over to the stand, eyeing the different flowers and deciding on something red. The man told him it was called an amaryllis, a flower he’d not heard of before. Matt thanked him after the purchase was made and he returned to Layla with a grin.

“Stand still,” he instructed, moving his hand through the side of her head; pushing his fingertips through it as he pushed away the hair which fallen from her bun throughout their day together. Matt’s hand slipped down to take a gentle hold of the flower and he slipped it above her ear, leaning in to give the submissive a kiss on the lips. It was a soft, intimate moment shared between them; completely oblivious to the crowd which moved around them.

Layla stood in front of the mirror for what probably seemed like hours, she turned around and around and stood off in the far back just to see how well the dress looked on her. No matter what position or far she stood back or even how close she was to the mirror it still looked the same; which was fantastic.

“You look amazing.” Matt’s voice came from behind her as his hands dropped slowly upon her waist and his mouth left small kisses upon her shoulder. In a matter of seconds, Layla was turned around and now facing Matt. Her hands trailed up and down his chest, resting there for a moment as her smile grew wide, which seemed to be a habit with him these days. “Thank you, Mister Matt. You honestly didn’t have to---” before Layla could even finish that sentence, Matt’s lips softly placed against hers kissing her with such passion as he pulled away and smiled, hands now resting on her lower back. “You’re welcome.” He stated, before pressing his lips back against hers.

who is more likely to hurt the other? This is a hard one because they both don’t wanna hurt one another, but by accident? I feel like it would be Layla. who is emotionally stronger? Layla. Though, Matt seems pretty emotionally strong as well so I’d say both of them but maybe Layla slightly more due to her past. who is physically stronger? Matt lol. Though, don’t let Layla fool you if it came down to it. who is more likely to break a bone? Well...I’m gonna go with Matt because he already sprained his shoulder and what not. who knows best what to say to upset the other? This is both of them, because Layla always enjoys talking to him because he knows exactly what to say and it makes sense to her. Whenever she’s upset, I feel like he would know what to say to calm her down and make her see the bigger picture. And Layla is just a sweetheart who enjoys making people feel better lol. who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? Layla. Because she doesn’t wanna leave Matt feeling upset at her. who treats who’s wounds more often? I’d say both of them lol. who is in constant need of comfort? Just going to be in a claim not a marriage? who has the most difficult parents? I think with Layla for a long time when she was voided it was difficult, but I can sense it’s getting better now. And Matt adores his family so I’ll give this one to Layla. who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? I see them both just trying to sneak a hand holding session with one another lol. who comes up for the other all the time? Gosh, I’d say both? who hogs the blankets? I don’t even know with this because I imagine Matt wanting to make sure Layla is comfortable and you know I imagine she just got use to not having that much, so I’d say neither? Both of them are good at cheering each other up. who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? This would be Layla’s doing because she is just getting use to joking around more. who is more streetwise? I don’t know how to answer this because I feel they both are just for different reasons? who is more wise? I think this is gonna be for Matt lol. who’s the shyest? Layla is shy but she is coming out of her shell more. who boasts about the other more? Oh my gosh. Layla, because she freaking adores Matt lololol. who sits on who’s lap? Layla sits on Matt’s lap and it’s her favorite spot lol.
