A sigh left Geumhee's lips as she tapped the bare white paper in her sketch book. Inspiration was leaving her empty and bare just as this paper stared back at her. Something has been wrong with her for a while now and she didn't quiet understand what the problem was. Was it the lack of work, the lack of sleep? So many things were weighing her down, bills to be paid, collections to be designed and made. Another sigh escaped her lips, her feet dragging on the sidewalk as her pen tapped the edge of the sketchbook. A cold breeze blew pass her, causing her to tighten the coat around her, pulling the pink scarf up close to her face. Geumhee's eyes widen as she looked around her. She wasn't familiar with the setting around her. Turning around, looking left and right, eyeing for the street signs, nothing looked familiar. But one thing for certain she knew well were the shops on her right hand side. Shopping, always calmed her down and burst her inspiration wall. Now paying attention to her surroundings, she saw an old antique shop that was pulling her towards the entrance. She always loved vintage over modern, loving how memories were attached to the items. She hurried to the shop and pulled the heavy door opened.
Her light chocolate eyes widen at the sight of antiques. This was all so fascinating to her. Seeing all these knick knacks made her see Ariel's cave of human wonders. She could have started singing "Part of Your World" if she wasn't in public. Looking to her left she found a bowl with photos. They were, of course, old photos from a different era, different mind set everything. She looked through the brown and white photos of straight faced ladies of what she knew were 1880's American photos, some serious looking Japanese soldiers in what looked like Busan in the early 1900's. She smiled at the photos, wanting to buy them but something told her not too, causing her to put them back. She kept her eyes open for anything, knowing that this shop would be just the inspiration she was looking for. A doll stared at her and she felt it. A frown deformed her face as she turned a 180 to look at the doll that was staring at her. But she knew it wasn't just an old doll, it was a Barbie Dolls of the World Korean Court Princess doll. She had one when she was a child, destroying her perfectly tradtional hair to comb it out and put it in pony tails and braids. Pulling off the dolls clothes, tearing up the royal Hanbok to make mini skirts and dresses. Geumhee took a step closer to the doll and reached out and took it off the self. The dolls half closed eyes stared back at her, sending a jolt of energy through her body. Something wasn't right. Her doll was lost when her parents decided to lose it on a family trip, aka threw it away in China. This doll looked like it came right out of the packaging but the dolls eyes. This was too weird, they were staring at her. She turned around and walked to where the register was located, "Uh, Excuse me?" Her small voice ringing through out the empty shop, hoping that an employee or the manager was working at the time.
