My name is Abdul Rahman from Gaza, and since the beginning of this war, grief has not left us for a single moment.
I lost my older brother, who was the breadwinner for my family. Then I lost my cousin and my uncle. Our house was destroyed and burned, forcing us to flee without shelter.
The tragedy didn't stop there... My uncle's rented house was targeted, killing nearly 20 people. My uncle and his family miraculously survived but sustained severe injuries.
My other cousin's house was then targeted, killing his wife and young daughter. He is now in intensive care in critical condition after shrapnel hit his head and brain, causing him to fall unconscious.
Today, my dear mother has contracted a serious illness and needs urgent surgery, which cannot be performed inside Gaza due to the lack of medical equipment. The only solution is to treat her abroad, but the cost of the operation is close to 15,000 euros. So far, I've only been able to raise 6,000 euros, part of which I've spent on food for my family, who are suffering from hunger and famine.
💔 I'm writing to you with a broken heart, fearing that I'll lose my mother as I lost my brother and relatives.
Please, help me. Don't leave me alone in this darkness. Every bit of help, no matter how small, could save my mother's life and restore hope to my family.
