this is new.

she doesn’t know what happened after she passed out, or where the heck she is right now. she remembers jason, or rather the red ranger, shouting something unintelligible above her. she remembers thinking that it sucks how the red ranger is the last thing she’ll ever see. not jason, who would surely stave off the coldness taking over her body.

heart rate rises, acutely aware of the the wires and iv’s keeping her rooted to the hospital bed. every inch of her body protests as she struggles to sit upright, already planning to make her escape. maybe it’s not the smartest idea — she’s weak, everything hurts, but her resolve is strong. the heart monitor goes first, which subsequently produces an obnoxious long beeping sound as if she’s flatlining. oops.
