Necron characters' attitudes to necrontyr hierarchy
Imotekh: The hierarchy is perfect, so the nobles must be perfect leaders. I am the perfect leader, so I must be the highest noble.
Szeras: I am higher than the hierarchy.
Orikan: All nobles are bastards. (And commoners can be bastards too. All are fools. Trazyn is no fool but he is a noble so he is a bastard.)
Trazyn: The hierarchy is nothing to me. I don't want to be a noble. (Unless Orikan can be irritated.)
Zahndrekh: The hierarchy is a matter of course. I am a high noble of course. My servants should obey me of course.
Obyron: The hierarchy is of course. I am a commoner of course. I should obey my master of course.
Anrakyr: Someone must step up or this whatever hierarchy won't last in this new galaxy.
Szarekh: The hierarchy has not been perfect for there are still those who don't completely obey me, the Silent King. I will fulfill my duty and perfect it.
Oltyx: The hierarchy is Szarekh's bones. I feel uncomfortable being a noble. I want to be Yenekh's equal.
Yenekh: The hierarchy is Szarekh's tears. My king and I should be equal. (But Lysikor is a sand-born sucker.)
Lysikor: There is more fun killing nobles.
Amarkun: The hierarchy is good. Everyone should obey their phaeron.
Zaa: The hierarchy is good. Everyone should obey their phaeron. I will make a perfect phaeron out of Amarkun for myself to obey.
(For other characters please tell me whose attitudes you are interested in)
Yenekh was canonically a noble of high rank
I know people here cannot care the canon less but I care.
Fun Fact
Though we know that necrons are a faction with too many legendary heroes, the first time female necrons appear in codex is in the 10th ed. No wonder necrons feel so gay.
Nate Crowley has created a Spotify playlist titled Cryptek Banger Research Asteroid in June.
I wonder what this could mean... 🤔
Djoseras seemed that he was raising an intriguing question here. Apparently, Oltyx hadn't used to curse with Szarekh's name before he was exiled, so who taught him about these dirty words...
OK I've found you, the only other character that cursed with Szarekh's name in this duology. How surprising.
Reading through Robert Rath's Black Library novels and find these...
Orikan the Diviner to Trazyn the Infinite from The Infinite and the Divine...
Lidya Vossa to Ishmayl Galvan from Assassinorum: Kingmaker...
and Katarinya Greyfax to Celestine from The Fall of Cadia.
Looks like Rob does have a thing for "quarrelsome couples".
I feel a little tangled.
In my headcanon, it's almost impossible for both Orikan and Trazyn to be aroused by anyone other than each other. It's a little easier for Orikan because his rage is more inclusive. Provided his partner provokes enough rage, he may feel the urge to be sadistic. For Trazyn it's basically impossible, because to him there are only four things in the world: collections, potential collections, museum staff, Orikan. In fact his constancy will disgust both if they realise it.
