Promise for eternity
*By the morning, Leafy was heading back to his tree, going up the river. During the walk, he remembers the promise he did last night, on the beach. He looks around, and quickly finds a pointy rock* ..This will do. *He grabs it, and resumes his walk back to his tree*
*After a few minutes, he finally reaches his home. He kept in silence to not wake up Violet, and stands in front of the tree trunk. He looks down to the pointy rock, then back to the tree. Without hesitation, he presses the sharp side of the rock against the tree, and carefully, he draws a big heart on it.
After done with it, he points the rock to the internal part of the heart, and starts to rub it. After a while writing on the wood, he leaves a few taps over it, and moves back to look. He carved on his own tree a big heart, with "Leafy + Mew" written inside it. A mark that would stay there for forever, and wouldn't be wiped away by the sea water. Each day by the morning, he will wake up and see the eternal bound he made with his lovely significant other*
