Aha! Mystery solved! So, I've been carefully cultivating a healthy wasp population aboard. Some clarity on that: wasps are extremely intelligent and very cool customers (don't bother them, the won't bother you), and they eat large bugs. Like roaches. And it's EXTREMELY important to me that we never get roaches. So I let them do their thing, and even help protect their nests from the elements from time to time. But, despite my carefully cultivated warm and welcoming environment - they're gone! And THIS guy... is likely to blame. These little lizards eat wasps, and he's moved into my boom. I'm not going to lie, even though he's cute as hell and watching him slide around the fiberglass in a panic is literally hours of high quality entertainment, I'd rather have my wasps. Lizards don't mess with roaches, and that's what I need! #bywayofthesea #boatlife #leapinlizards (at Merritt Island, Florida)
