I'm pretty sure theres a rough mockup map of the countries mentioned in isat and it clearly is not based on irl landforms and even if it was do you think the placement of fictional countries and cultures in relation to each other are usually 1-to-1 with their real life counterparts??? ???? stupidest reasoning ever for a headcanon that literally annoys the shit out of the dev.
like the only hints to the forgotten islands culture is: malanga fritters, astronomy??, fish head was something someone there ate, samosas with cheese, dark sand. none of these are pointing towards the uk far as im aware?? prev posts worded it perfectly too like even if there were any similarities how do you take the metaphors and tones of the people's struggle with the forgotten island and go "yeah this place is like colonial country number 1"
