There are three secrets to making Chromexcel Leather; first is the full vegetable retan done with their custom blended retanning liquors made at the Horween tannery. The second is genuine hot stuffing – the impregnation of the leather with a secret blend of natural oils and greases that are solids at room temperature. Finally, the leather is allowed to dry naturally – a process that takes almost a week.
