Fic request: do lee dyle and ler dandy?
🎭⏰ “Tickled Out of Time”
(Lee!Dyle | Ler!Dandy)
It was late evening in the Gardenview Train Center. The soft ticking of clocks filled the air, rhythmic and steady, the way Dyle liked it. Everything was in order. Every second, every chime, every polished surface—perfectly aligned.
Or so he thought.
“Dyyyyyyle~!” came a singsong voice from the hallway, followed by the click-click of fancy shoes and a swirl of color.
Dyle’s brow ticked—just barely. “Ah. Dandy.”
“The one and only!” Dandy announced, striking a pose with his hat tipped forward. “How’s my favorite timekeeper doing, hm?”
“Busy,” Dyle replied shortly, turning back to his station. “The train schedule requires precision. Distractions cause delay.”
Dandy gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. “Distractions?! You wound me, Mr. Tick-Tock! I’m not a distraction—I’m a delight!”
Dyle gave a long sigh. “You are… something.”
“Ohhh, that’s it,” Dandy said, grinning mischievously. “You’re wound up tighter than your gears, my friend.”
“I am functioning at peak efficiency.”
“Yeah?” Dandy leaned against the control panel, smirk widening. “Then why’s your jaw twitching every time I talk?”
“I—It is not—!”
“Gotcha~!”
And before Dyle could react, Dandy darted forward and poked his side.
The effect was immediate.
“EHEHHEH—!!” Dyle jolted back, clutching his ribs with wide eyes. “Wh—what was that?!”
“Ohhh, don’t tell me the ever-professional Dyle is ticklish?” Dandy’s grin turned wickedly playful.
“D-Dandy, don’t you—d-do not—!”
Too late.
Dandy’s fingers fluttered right back to the watch’s sides, gentle but merciless, tracing along the golden frame and down to where the clock face met his torso. Dyle’s prim composure shattered instantly into breathy laughter.
“DAHAHANDY—!! STOHOHOP!! THAHAHAT IS—!!”
“Adorable? Hilarious? Therapeutic?” Dandy beamed. “All of the above, I’d say!”
“YOHOHOU—NAHHAHAHAUGH—!!”
“Oh, you laugh funny! C’mon, Mr. Serious, let it out! The crowd’s waitin’ for that smile!”
Dyle twisted, face glowing brighter than his rainbow tie as Dandy scribbled along his ribs and stomach. The laughter that bubbled up was sharp and genuine, echoing beautifully in the metal train hall.
“DANDYYYYY!! AHAHAH—STOHOHOP, I’LL—HHEHEHE—DROP THE TRAINS!!”
“They can be fashionably late!” Dandy teased, wigglin’ his fingers under Dyle’s chin. “Oh ho, there it is! That grin—look atcha!”
“THIHIHIS IS—IHINDECOROUS—!!”
“Fancy word for you’re giggling like a school kid, huh?”
Dyle finally slumped against him, laughter falling into soft, embarrassed chuckles. His voice was warm, even if a little breathless. “You are insufferable.”
“And you, sir,” Dandy said with a flourish, “are officially off the clock!”
“…You’re impossible,” Dyle muttered, hiding a small smile behind his gloved hand.
“Ahhh, there’s the real you,” Dandy said, resting a hand on his shoulder. “Now that’s a smile worth keeping.”
“…Thank you,” Dyle murmured quietly after a beat, the faintest hint of sincerity under his tone.
“Anytime, tick-tock,” Dandy said, tipping his hat. “After all—what are friends for, if not for keeping your gears in motion?”
Dyle chuckled softly, shaking his head. “Just don’t… make this a habit.”
“No promises!”
