She closed both her eyes, she didn't complain. Or cheat.
Ekko slowly walked backwards, guiding Jinx further and further towards his surprise for her.
He couldn't believe that he needed his experience in another universe to be reminded that Powder wasn't lost. That he didn't want her to be lost.
And even though he knew Jinx wasn't going to be the same after all she went through, there was something else he believed: with time, and with love, warmth, and friendship, he might be able to see glimpses of her.
"Alright, open your eyes."
Jinx opened her eyes and she immediately gasped. Ekko stood proudly next to his artwork of Isha.
"What do you think?" he asked smugly, but the smile he had hoped to see, or even the smug giggle while acting like she wasn't impressed at all, they both didn't come.
Jinx sank through her knees and touched the wall art.
"......Isha."
Tears fell from her eyes. Shit shit shit. Ekko felt like an idiot. He foolishly staggered around before he knelt down beside her.
"Sorry - Jinx. I didn't want to make you upset or anything, I just..." Ekko fell backwards when suddenly she wrapped her arms around him in a full, heavy hug. Losing his balance, Ekko toppled back clumsily, but that didn't stop her from holding him.
"She's beautiful," Jinx whispered. "Thank you."
Jinx was still as unpredictable as ever. Startled by her emotional reaction, Ekko lowered his hand and touched her back.
"Y-you're welcome," he said awkwardly. Jinx wasn't sobbing or crying a lot. She just held him tightly. When that took a little while, Ekko wondered if she was okay.
"Are you alright?" He tried to move, but damn, her hug was quite strong.
He didn't want to push her away, that would be a bit cold. But she was almost choking him now and he wasn't sure if she was ever going to let go.
"H-hey, maybe if you let go, we can..." Jinx only tightened her hold on him. Oh. Okay, okay. She wanted that hug.
Ekko made a little gasping noise and he coughed, trying to act like she was really choking him, but she still didn't let go.
Just as he reconsidered forcefully throwing her off, a memory struck him.
In the other dimension, when he was working on the Chronobreak device with Powder, and when he spent a lot of time with her there... Something happened between them that sparked a childhood memory he had long forgotten. Powder was ticklish. Which means... Jinx should be ticklish.
"Jinx..." Ekko said, but he wondered if he should really warn her for what he was going to do. He already wanted to try it anyway. He slowly lowered his hands and hesitated just briefly before he tickled her sides.
"Aiiihh!" Jinx made a funny noise, but instead of letting go, she only tightened the embrace. Well, if Ekko was going to die anyway, heh. He started tickle her for real. A lot. And the surprised cackles that suddenly came from her, they sounded like music.
"Are you letting go now?" Ekko asked with difficulty. She finally did. Jinx released him from her killer hug and before she could retaliate, Ekko caught her arm and started to tickle her more. Bold move, but effective.
"Hehehey no! Nonono! You ahahare so- AHh!" Jinx sang hilariously. Her laughter was so funny and melodious, and although her voice was the same as Powder in the alternate universe, because this was Jinx, it felt like a completely new experience.
Ekko caught himself getting distracted by the sound of her laugh and Jinx saw her chance. With little effort she managed to flip him over and she ended up straddling him.
"You've got some nerve," she said breathlessly, but she was still smiling. "What made you think you could get away with that?"
Ekko was about to give her an honest reply, but to his surprise, Jinx already started to tickle him back.
"HOHOHO-HANG AHaha hahaang on a-aaaahhhah!" Ekko's own loud voice startled him. In the other universe Ekko had only tickled Powder, but she didn't tickle him back, so the last time he was tickled like this...... He could barely remember. It must've been when he, Powder and Vi were still kids.
"Ho ho ho, no I won't hang on. You did it first," Jinx taunted. She had a smug, wicked grin on her face, and tears were still sparkling in her eyes.
Ekko could only be relieved they were no longer enemies. Her fingers skilfully played him like a failure of an instrument, making him shriek and howl uncharmingly. This was Ekko definitely not at his best.
"AHAHA I'm sohhorry! I'm sahaharry - gaahhhhah!"
She was merciless, but in the end the tickling did come to a stop, and Ekko greedily sucked in some air. Jinx got back up and went to admire the art again. She brushed it softly with her hand, emotion still visible in her eyes as she studied it.
"Thanks, Little Man. For making me smile again."
She then walked away again, leaving Ekko to catch his breath there beside the painting.
Wow. Well there was one thing he knew for sure: she liked it. And he wasn't sure if she was referring to him making her smile by making that surprise artwork - which in fact made her cry instead, or to the fact that he dared to tickle her and make her laugh.
Jinx was still a mystery, but no longer a mystery Ekko was going to avoid. "You're welcome," he mumbled with a smile, even though she was already long gone.
Right. Since he got away with it, with only a mere scratch to his ego, Ekko was determined to tickle her more later. He wasn't just going to make her smile. He would make her laugh.
Summary: After talking Jinx down so they both didn’t get blown up, Ekko assists Jinx in getting everything ready to help in the big fight. They can’t crash the party looking all cool without some sick paint designs on their outfits though!
Author’s Notes: Thank you to this anon for the prompt requests for this fic! Despite not writing for Jinx or Ekko previously, I had a lot of fun trying to write them. :P Like everyone, I’m under the assumption they talked and maybe hung out between Ekko convincing Jinx to not hurt herself/blow them both up and the big fight. So here’s a little something I think could have happened!
Words: ~1,300 | AO3 Link
“You think this’ll work?” Ekko asked with doubt laced in his voice.
“Of course it will. You helped me build it, after all.” Jinx responded as she sat on a stool at what was originally her makeshift workbench.
The Boy Savior had managed to talk The Loose Cannon down from trying to hurt herself (both of them, really. If that explosive went off without Ekko using the Z-Drive, they’d both be dead) and convince her to fight as a major pawn in the clash between Piltover, Zaun and Noxus. With Ekko’s help, Jinx has converted her hideout into a secret weapon in the game of chess between the nations. They both needed to go and help so the whole world didn’t succumb to downfall.
The big balloon was ready to go, just not launched yet. The weapons were attached, rebuilt to be more lethal and painted brightly. Just one final thing was missing in their plan…
“Now, we just have to look the part.” Jinx turned the stool so she could look at Ekko, who tilted his head in questioning. “We can’t go face first into a fight lookin’ like this. I need… something deadlier to wear. And we need paint!”
So they got to work. Ekko’s outfit didn’t need many changes, but Jinx wanted to rework her attire. She managed to make and attach a hood out of some extra cloth she had laying around to a big jacket, wrapped her chest with bandages and tape and tailored the rest of her outfit to her liking.
Jinx even dyed a few purple streaks in her hair.
“I haven’t gotten the chance to tell you that I dig the new hair,” Ekko commented, helping Jinx so she didn’t get hair dye everywhere. “I think it suits you better this way.”
“I don’t even know how long it’s been since I’ve had it this short. New trauma, new me, I guess.” She shrugged.
Ekko brought the paint cans up on the workbench, mixing a pot of it with a paintbrush so its colour would be consistent. “You really want paint all over you?” He asked as he took the brush out of the paint, holding a cupped hand under the brush so as to not make a mess if it dripped.
“Paint makes everything look cooler,” she replied. “Besides, you’re the pro at it. You painted more than me as a kid, and painted my cool hat I used to wear when we used to play…” her smile faltered to a frown as her eyes grew a little sad. “…back then…”
A sad sigh left Ekko as he pulled up his own stool, sitting down. “Once this is all over, we’ll figure this out. Okay?”
Jinx nodded and then shook off the sadness, spreading her arms out wide. “Let me be your canvas, Wonder Boy.”
He nodded as got to work. He started painting her clothes first, drawing different patterns and symbols on her outfit with a range of colours. This was very different to the murals he and his friends at the sanctuary were used to painting, but it was nice to try something different. And painting like this caused some more old memories to resurface into his mind.
“Heh, I remember when we did this as kids. You could never sit still,” he moved the paintbrush from the side of her jacket to her bare skin on her torso. Jinx shuttered at the sudden cold paint touching down on her skin with a shiver. “Whenever I painted on you before, you always squirmed because you were so ticklish.” He stated with a laugh, reminiscing.
“That w-was when I was just a kid, though. Not anymore.” Jinx replied. With Ekko’s comment, she was now hyper aware of the brush making contact with her skin.
But Ekko noticed that Jinx’s body went stiff. The exact same thing would happen when he painted her way back then.
“I dunno… Seems like that still rings true.”
“What? Me, ticklish? As if. That’s just a stupid kiddy feeling. I’m way past that now.”
Ekko swiped the brush, painting a long, colourful streak of bright green paint from her side all the way to her stomach. Jinx let out a strangled noise as her hand darted to her mouth to silence herself. Her eyes flew to look at Ekko’s face, a small smile across it.
“Ekko.” She tried to make her voice as stern as she could. Though, her vocal cords failed her in this moment. “Don’t even think about it.”
He didn’t even need to give a response as he started to drag the paintbrush around her skin with more tickly intent, from her stomach all the way to under her arm. Jinx let out a gasp as giggles started to slip through her defences, a hand swiftly latching onto Ekko’s wrist to stop him.
“Yohohou always did this when wehehe were kids, too.” She shook her head, giggling. This was so silly, but strangely she didn’t mind it. Thinking of her past self usually upset and hurt her, but with Ekko here… some parts didn’t seem as awful, at least.
“I just wanted to lighten the mood. You need all that spark and energy for the fight,” Jinx loosened her grip on Ekko’s wrist as he grabbed another paintbrush with some bright pink dyed bristles. “I’ll make sure it doesn’t tickle this time, I promise. Super serious now.”
“Pfft, fine.” Jinx gave in and leaned back in the stool, holding her arms back out with a bit of reluctance. Ekko got back to painting, the cold paint once again making Jinx’s skin crawl. She was focusing on trying to mentally block out the feeling of the paint sliding against her skin, until—
“Hahaha! Y-You’re totally doing it ohohohon purpose!!” She jumped off of her stool, surprising Ekko. His eyes grew wide as he stood up himself, waiting for a physical attack or something of the like from the other.
“No, I wasn’t! I swear!” He held his hands up in defence, the paintbrush that was in his hand clashing to the ground with a dull noise.
Jinx looked Ekko up and down in thought. And then a plan hit her. A somewhat menacing smile formed on her face, making Ekko shiver in place. She grabbed a loaded paintbrush of her own, a pretty bright blue.
“You’ve just started a tickle paint war. And I’m gonna win.”
Ekko had no time to react as Jinx launched herself in his direction, attacking him with whatever bare skin her own paintbrush could reach. He tried to run away with begs and pleads. He was ticklish himself after all, and Jinx knew that. But she didn’t relent.
Loud laughter bounced off the cave walls from both of them. Paint was flying in many directions as Ekko managed to grab another paintbrush to fight back during the brawl. They had a scuffle, seeing who could laugh the loudest. They were both entirely covered with bright, messy paint from head to toe once they called a truce.
Ekko looked at Jinx’s face, trying to catch his breath. “I think I missed a spot,” he moved back to the workbench, dipping his thumb in some purple paint. He made his way back to Jinx, holding her chin steady with one hand as he dragged his painted purple thumb across both of her cheeks, just below her eyes. “There. Think we’re ready now.”
Jinx laughed, eyeing Ekko’s body, colourful paint now all over him. “I think I did a good job, if I do say so myself.”

Loud, booming music could be heard from inside the hide-out that Jinx stores herself away at for hours on end: listening to music with a cheeky grin, making some gadgets that really should be held off for later activities. she bobbed her head back and forth to the music as she sinks her mind further into the depths of her own little world.
The way she would describe her day would be just dandy and fun! Such a normal day to be normal and hide-away in her very normal thoughts making very normal gadgets for normal activities like making a scene for piltover to annoy the newspapers once again for the third time this week. But that wasn't the case. She was an absolute nuisance today. Both with Isha and Sevika.
Ever since Isha came into her life, and then gradually appeared in Sevika’s as well, Jinx has been different for the better. She's been more friendly, and gentle with Isha and is even like that with Sevika like she was her own blood. Unfortunately however, that also takes a turn for the two with how Jinx has been acting towards them. Ever since Jinx discovered that Isha was ticklish, which resulted in her thoughts to think that Sevika was also ticklish, she has been poking and tasering both of their sides the whole day when any chance seemed to fit.
It was like a new discovery that Jinx just had to give it her all to embarrass the both of them. It embarrassed Isha and got her to be in a giggle fit through-out the day, while Jinx’s schemes ruined a part of Sevika’s ego. She was entertained by it; she was a sucker for both of their reactions when they least expected it. The squeak that Isha would unleash would be endearing and cute to Jinx for her to do it more, and Sevika’s uncharacterized squeal and snorts would have Jinx howl in laughter as she quickly leaves the scene; leaving Sevika to ponder in silence in annoyance.
They just had to get her back for it. Make her take what she can't dish out.
Sevika thought of the idea first, and then brought it up with Isha who reluctantly agreed to help out. They thought of a quick plan to get her when she least expected it, and they had to do it fast! With shimmer running through her system, it might be a stretch, but they could do it!
After they finished exchanging their thoughts, they left their little meeting room where Silco used to take charge of, and stormed off to Jinx’s Hideout. It just had to work.
Now comes the loud music again with Jinx jamming to it like any other ordinary normal day. Oh, she's getting it now. Sevika alerted Isha to go hide where they talked about, and walked up to Jinx to calmly get her attention so Isha could hide with no disturbances or possible acknowledgement from Jinx.
“Jinx, we need to talk." Sevika said, putting her hand on Jinx’s shoulder to warp her out of her trance with the music. She turned on her heel while on her chair, and took her goggles off to look at Sevika with that same grin that had been plastered on her face the entire day.
“What’s up, buttercup! You've missed me??" she said, wiggling her fingers at Sevika for only a brief second before Sevika swallowed down her shivers, and shoved her hands away from her sight.
“It's Isha." Sevika announced, seeing that shit eating grin turn to an overprotective and concerned frown.
“It's not bad, don't worry. She's just.. We're playing hide-and-seek and this is the only place I haven't found her in, do you have any idea where she is?" Sevika exclaimed, kind of burning her ego even more by the fact that Jinx now thinks that she's actually playing hide-and-seek with a child rather than doing other things.
“Wohow.. The intimidating, council-wannabe is actually playing a silly little game with Isha? A child? That's hilarious! ” Jinx chuckled at the overlapping thought of the big and bad Sevika playing a child's game.
"You know more of where she would hide than I do- do you want to help find her, or not?” Gosh, how annoying? Sevika thought. She knew that Jinx would back talk and make fun of the silly concept, but jeez!
"Yeah, yeah, calm your tits. I'll help find her. I know all the nooks and crannies of where she would hide! ISN'T THAT RIGHT, ISHA??” Jinx yelled out for Isha to hear. Resulting with her covering her mouth to not stifle a laugh.
Unfortunately for the both of them-Jinx had thought initially- she turns to look at the one hiding spot that Isha always goes for when she couldn't think of anywhere else to hide in the Hideout, and looks to Sevika before giving her a wide smile and a wink before proceeding to approach said spot.
Swaying her body from side to side while walking, she chants, “oh Ishaaa! Where could you possibly hide?? I wonder." She grins, getting closer and closer to her hiding spot. Isha could see Jinx, and Jinx could see Isha. They were locking eyes while Isha was still stifling a laugh. What Jinx didn't know was the big arm going around her neck(not rough) to pull her away and carefully sit her on the floor for her to struggle out of the hold.
The evil grin turned into panic, almost forgetting that Sevika was also here trying to look for Isha. She turned her head to look at her briefly before whipping her head back around to see Isha hop out of her hiding spot with a cheeky smile.
“Ohokay, reeeally funny you two, you can let me up now." Jinx said, nervously. She had cursed at herself for letting her guard down so easily. Stupid, It's sevika. Of course she's got something up her Sleeve with child's play.
“I'd let you up on one condition. You take what you can dish out." Sevika said in a low, intimidating voice that secretly always sent shivers down Jinx’s spine.
“Lihike I know what THAT means. You're on your own, sister. Isha, get her off of me.” She nodded her head to Isha, indicating for some help from the younger, but that didn't happen. Isha kept looking at her with that cheeky smile.
“Now?" Isha signed over to Sevika, and all she gave her was a knod. Relishing Isha to go straight for Jinx’s sides out of nowhere because of Jinx’s blind eye. It'd be a pretty damn good time to have a third eye, right?
Scribbling lightly, this shocked Jinx to scrunch up her face weirdly, and did everything she could to keep her unwanted giggles at bay, biting her lower lip to keep them down.
Instantly, an impatient chuckle came out of Sevika’s mouth. “You're really doing that? C’mon, kid. You stand no chance. Sooner or later you'll be breaking pretty soon." she said next to Jinx’s ear, causing the shorter to scrunch away, embarrassingly.
C’mon Jinx, you got this! This impatient bitch just needs to be bored, and then she'll let you go, simple!
Is what she initially thought, before Sevika got too confident with her impatience, and went straight for her armpits, relishing a sharp squeal that Jinx would rather take to her own grave than admitting anything. Quick giggles came out of her mouth. They were goofy, and uncoordinated, but it brought a smile to both Isha and Sevika. (Sevika would take that smile to her grave also)
"Well, what do you know? The master criminal with weird lookin’ pants can laugh after all?” Sevika said, looking at Isha who was still glued to her sides. All she gave was a satisfying Huff, and continued the onslaught.
“FUHUHuhuck thahat ehenforcer!” Jinx said before dissolving in more of her giggles.
It's been such a long time since she's had a proper tickle fight with her being on the receiving end that she almost forgot how much fun it was. Letting loose and bringing out the real her was so rare, even for Jinx, that it became almost like a dream to her, like it wasn't actually real. Anytime she got ganged up on was her little group with her sister. They all knew how much she loved it just to laugh with them and have a good time. But this is Isha and Sevika who's replacing that memory. It almost felt wrong to have them replaced, but she also knew that she desperately needed this. She would never admit that though.
“Ohohokay, OHOHOKAY!! Ihihi’m lahahaughing, nohow stop!" she squirmed even more to emphasize her words.
“Hmm.. Not quite yet, I don't think you’ve learned your lesson on picking on us all day, huh Isha?" Sevika asked her once again for an agreement.
“Hmm!” Isha agreed, finally moving her hands to Jinx’s stomach. This caused a small snort from the master criminal, who then covered her mouth when realizing what she just blurted out of her mouth. A light pink hue showing her features due to embarrassment.
“Ha! I never knew you could snort, kid. Isha, how about you stay at that spot?" with a nod, Isha reluctantly stayed put in her designated spot, making Jinx go insane with the feeling. She had almost forgotten that her stomach was a death spot for her. Damn crop top revealing her sensitive spots.
“IHIHI’VE lehearned mYHYHY lesson!" Jinx squeezed her eyes shut, as if it would help with the feeling. Oh, how she was very wrong?
Sevika wanted to try a different spot to make it known that she was ignoring her pleas, so she reluctantly went for her neck. The squeal that left Jinx’s mouth shocked both Sevika and Isha. Almost stopping their onslaught, Isha and Sevika laughed at her reaction, causing her face to flush even more. Fuck, she's really going to take this to her grave.
“Yohohou dihihidn’t hehehear thahahat! Shuhuhut uhuhuhp.." Jinx was pouring out giggles here and there from how sensitive her neck was. It was an adorable sight for them both.
“It's like your whole personality changed, shit!" Sevika admitted, becoming fond of her reactions. With all the shit that has been going on lately, Sevika was relieved by Jinx to finally let loose and forget about the whole world for just a moment by laughing her heart out. She was hoping that Jinx was feeling the same, maybe even reminiscing about her own situation with past bondment with her family.. Past family.
After a while, Jinx had finally abandoned her hands from covering her mouth to grab at Isha’s hands that were still scribbling away at her stomach. Finally showing her bright smile, it was like they were looking at Powder, and not Jinx. Seeing the little girl before she became a completely different person who was malnourished and mourned the loss of her family, and those who she thought had left her for who she was. They saw Powder. What a rare sight, huh?
“Ohohohkay!! Fohohor fuhucks sake! Stohohop, shihit!” Is all Jinx had said before dissolving in more breathy giggles, becoming more tired. With that, Sevika backed off, nodding to Isha to back off as well, then unwrapped her arm from Jinx’s neck to let her breathe.
Jinx gladly took in her well deserved breaths. Deciding to stay on the floor, she unintentionally invaded Sevika’s space like Sevika wasn't the one who invaded hers, she started to become annoyed, but decided not to comment.
“Gohodness, I will nehever mess with you guys again.. Shit! That was horrible." Jinx finally said, getting up and off of Sevika, thankfully for the older, who also got up as well.
“Yeah, well you better take your word for it, or I'll be the one targeting your stomach, kid." Sevika warned with a poke to Jinx’s stomach, causing her to flinch and cover where she had poked. She gave her a look, until turning to look at Isha who wore that same cheeky smile, never once did it leave her face.
“You're lucky miss space-invader over there is here to hold me back from getting my revenge on you!" Jinx jokingly warned with a finger pointed at the kid, earning a nervous chuckle from Isha. They did their signature handshake before Isha went off to do her own thing like always. Jinx eyed her before meeting eyes with Sevika once more.
“You like.. Completely changed into a new person when you laughed, it's kind of refreshing to hear someone let loose in a fucked up town we're under right now.” Sevika suddenly said, leaving Jinx stunned by her sincere words, and sudden attention. Her face flushed a bit once more.
“Well.. It's hard tryna keep my ego up when both people are attacking me, huh?” Jinx said, poking at Sevika’s side.
“Do you want a round two?" Sevika warned once again, perking up an eyebrow.
" NOPE! anyway, I'll go into town.. You know, Ekko might need me.” Jin said, darting out the Hideout to escape what she started once again.
Sevika only nodded her head from side to side with a chuckle. This kid.
Summary: Vi and Jinx are reflecting on their past life, and their potential new life at the commune. Things can’t be the way they were before, but they could at least try to build something new, right?
Author’s Notes: HELLO YES I SAW ALL THE ASKS. This may be the only time I write them together because trying to find a way to write them without them trying to kill each other was harder than it looked. 😶🌫️ But hey, once I got started it didn’t take me too long to write it. They might be a little OOC since I haven’t written much for Jinx and haven’t written for Vi at all yet, but I hope you fellas like it. :)
Words: ~900 | AO3 Link
A light breeze passed through causing a disturbance in the grass. Distant noises such as banging at the blacksmith could be heard from the commune, however other than that slight ambience (and Isha climbing on top of pieces of metal a few metres away), it was quiet in this small section of Zaun.
Jinx and Vi were perched up against a piece of metal no taller than up to their torsos, marked with distant memories that felt like a lifetime away.
They were reminiscing. No arguing or physical fighting for the first time in a long while. They were calm, discussing the past with quiet voices.
“What else do you remember about them?” Vi asked, her fingers touching the faded markings left on the metal.
“I remember cooking with mom… the smell of her cooking always got me excited for dinner,” Jinx let out a sad sigh, plucking out the piece of straw that was in her mouth, letting it fall to the ground. “And I remember dad’s hugs. They always made me feel safe.”
“…we could make this a safe place, y’know.” Vi took a step away from the metal post, the ground crunching under her. “A new safe place. We could stay here and help. Wait for Vander to get better. That’s the least we can do for this guy’s community.”
Jinx didn’t give a response.
“We could start over. No more running away. No more blowing stuff up, no more fighting. We can make it better for us. For her,” She motioned to Isha who was playing over in the distance, oblivious to the conversation. “You want the kid to be safe, right?”
Mentioning Isha pulled at Jinx’s heartstrings. She cared a lot about her. Isha just randomly fell into her lap one day trying to run to safety, after all.
Jinx let out a huff of a laugh. “That’s the first good idea you’ve had in a while,” Jinx finally spoke up, crossing her arms over her chest. “I’m down.”
A small, warm smile made its way to Vi’s face, walking up to Jinx. She held her arms out. “C’mere.”
Jinx didn’t hesitate, going in fast for a hug. She nearly teared up in Vi’s embrace. Finally, maybe they could put everything in their past behind them and truly be sisters again. Vi gave her a tight squeeze, and then let her go. Jinx wiped at the tears budding in her eyes.
“But first, you gotta at least have a smile on your face. Don’t want people to be pushed away from that sad look on your face.” Vi commented with a chuckle, her smile not wavering. Jinx let out a bit of a breathy laugh after she finished wiping her face, a small smile creeping onto it. But that clearly wasn’t enough for Vi.
“You can do better than that. Actually, lemme help.” With lightning fast reflexes that caught Jinx off guard, Vi grabbed onto Jinx’s wrist. Then, she started clawing at Jinx’s side, making the other explode with laughter. Jinx was pulling at her arm, but Vi had a nice, strong grip on her.
“Nohoho, dohohonon’t!!” Jinx nearly shrieked. Isha stopped what she was doing, watching from a distance.
“I remember mom used to tickle us after rough days. Just to see us smile,” Her wiggling fingers climbed up to Jinx’s ribs, turning her laughter into cackles. Vi shook her head and laughed, wanting to tease her sister a bit. “Seems like you’re still as ticklish now as you were when you were little.”
Everything Vi was saying was going in one ear and out the other for Jinx. She could hardly concentrate.
Vi raked her nails gently but precisely up and down Jinx’s ribs. It tickled so bad. Jinx was squirming around so much that she managed to get out of Vi’s vice grip. “OKAHAHAY, OKAY! I’m smiling now!!” Jinx held up open hands in defence and defeat, smiling even bigger than she already was. Though, it wasn’t forced this time. It was genuine.
Vi let out a ‘pfft’, shaking her head once again. Isha came rushing over to them now that the commotion was over. Isha came up to Vi first, the taller one giving her a little pat on her hat.
Jinx let out a huff when her eyes laid on Isha. “And where were you when I needed saving from the Tickle Monster??” She pointed to Isha and then motioned to Vi as she spoke. Isha simply shrugged, a smug smile forming on her face.
“C’mon, let’s go see how Vander’s doing. And try to help out wherever we can to repay the people here.” Vi began to walk off, leaving Jinx and Isha alone for a few paces.
“At least you knew I wasn’t in real danger. Thanks for not runnin’ up to try to bite her this time.” Jinx whispered to Isha, who nodded. They both made a start to follow Vi who was a bit ahead of them walking back to the commune.
Things won’t be like they were before. But at least they could rebuild and start turning over a new leaf to potentially being sisters again.
Jinx tried to get out of this situation. Trust me! She tried using shimmer to help, but with the boy savior to her dismay, he already knew what she was going to do, and swiftly caught her by a hair to bring her close, sitting on the ground to make Jinx an easier target.
"No! Fuck you! You boy savior wannabe-ehehahaha!" Jinx was trying to harshly protest her complaints, but Ekko wasn't the patient type this time, so he reluctantly dug in her sides lightly to get her giggling like crazy.
"You did this to yourself, Jinx. You shouldn't have messed with my stuff." He said with a small cheeky smile. It grew more hearing those rare giggles coming out of the master criminal who would always keep her personality to herself.
She grabbed at his hands to try and stop him with no actual force behind the action. She only lowered her head to hide away her smile.
"Ihihi wahahanted toho spice uhuhuhp yohohur gadget thihihings!! Lehehet me goho!" She giggled out.
It was true. It was such a bad habit since Silco would always let her get away with drawing on his things, so she thought, "oh what the heck?" and drew on his hoverboard, and masks to pizazz them a bit more. Let's say that Ekko was not too fond of the gesture.
"Yohou should've asked me before drawing on my shit, then! This is your payment for the damage." Ekko explained, acting childish now. The way she was laughing made Ekko all giddy inside, finding the situation wholesome and cute.
"Yohohou are sOHOHO childihihish!"Jinx said before drowning in her laughter. This made Ekko laugh now.
Although she was paying the consequences of her actions, they were both enjoying the interaction, expanding their almost forgotten bond.
