@leeriespeak | jack & mary.
“It’s good to see you again Jack. It has been far too long, how have you been? Have you heard from Bert lately?” Mary asks him with a small smile on her face. She always had a soft spot for Jack and Bert, both adults who remember, who don’t forget. She might even say they are her friends.
@leeriespeak liked the call for mary poppins.
the children were busying themselves with a bit of dusting, which meant that mary poppins could take a moment or two to herself. as it were, she had found her way outside for a little morning stroll, while the sun still, very lightly, touched the horizon. early enough, she knew, that she would meet jack on his way to light the lamps. ❝ good morning, jack, ❞ she greeted when she saw him. right on time, as, she had learned, he always managed to be. ❝ i thought i’d see you around about now. ❞

Them meeting always seems to be at random, but Mary knows what she is doing, she knows where he is at a certain point when she might need him, it was one of the perks of being Mary Poppins. “Jack! How quaint to see you here.” She says, the kids coming up behind her trying to carry all the groceries and complaining about it. “We are out shopping.”
