Tell me about Khasuri and Lefkarthas :DD (I think I will ask many times, until I get satysfied) also, Polaris in bastard jail coming soon :D (what the hell I'm doing?? xd)
Bastard jail! He deserves it. I’m so happy.
Khasuri is a very shy medic with a very severe illness. She got caught in the crossfire of some terran chemical weapon and now her immune system is trying to eat her own skin. She hides away from other protoss, and wears heavy clothing even in the middle of summer when she works so that she doesn’t scare other people. She’s awfully lonely.
Lefkarthas is a fashion model. He’s gorgeous and he knows it.
How's Lefty supposed to put makeup on Mai? I mean protoss' hands are pretty big and have huge claws... Also, you mentioned Immardar wouldn't like his skin to be bleached...Do all nerazim basically like their darker skin? I mean, are there any beauty trends among the protoss which involve changing skin tones? Is anyone on particular somehow happy/unhappy with their appearance?
He’s got a human girlfriend, anon. Do you really think that he isn’t clipping his claws? Winking and nudging aside, this is why he’s going to school. He’s gonna learn how to treat his lady right! He may be a fashion model, but he’s also her #1 hype man.
Immardar likes his skin just the way it is, thank you very much! I don’t necessarily want to say that it’s a color thing, but bleaching the skin on humans is pretty bad for us. I can’t imagine that bleaching protoss skin, which is supposed to absorb light and water and stuff, is going to be any good for them!
Khasuri hates her appearance due to her disfiguring autoimmune condition going on. If she thought drinking bleach would fix it, she’d try it, but bleach on fragile skin and open wounds is generally bad and painful. Immardar is a terrible vain peacock who loves his appearance.
Ok Lefkarthas likes fashion, what does he think about make-up? Does anyone actually enjoy it?
Lefty LOVES make-up! He does it on himself, and he’s taking classes to actually figure out how to do it on humans now (along with human hairdressing classes) so that he can make his girlfriend the prettiest girl around (which she already is, naturally, but there’s no kill like overkill). There was also an incident which landed Lefty in the hospital involving non-food safe glaze, funny pictures to mail to Mai when she was off at school, and Lefty not reading the labels on things. Don’t leave this boy alone with chemicals he will die.
Immardar would do it but he’s not sure if he should put that stuff on his face. Someone reassure the poor boy that it won’t make him go blind or bleach his skin or anything like that.
Does Maikoa often drink alco? Does she often do it with Lefty?
Oh yeah, she drinks! She tries not to get drop-dead drunk, though; she considers herself always on duty to protect him. They “drink” together all the time, usually after a successful show or just to relax at home.
Bright lights. White walls. A cold, sterile waiting room. Chemical smells that sting his skin. Mindless, time-wasting datapads piled on a table nearby. But how could he distract himself? He’s not allowed in, they’re not telling him what happened, just that something went wrong, a deformity, dead on arrival, dystocia, words that should have made sense but were too busy spinning around in his head for him to comprehend them.
“I want to see her.”
“I’m sorry, she’s still recovering. We will tell you when you can see her.”
“I want to see her now.”
“If you cannot behave, we will make you leave.”
It’s unclear what happens next. He vaguely remembers a fight. His next memory involves waking up in a cell, charged with aggravated assault. He just wanted to know what had happened.
He comes down the stairs softly. “Mother? Mother, do you like my outfit?”
His father doesn’t look up from his work. “Your mother had to go out on call. She’ll be back after they apprehend the arsonist.”
Lefkarthas shuffles his feet. “When will that be?”
“She’ll be back when she comes back!” His father snaps, still not looking up. “She’s trying to keep people safe, please understand that she can’t be here all the time!”
“Yes, Father. I’m sorry to have disturbed you, Father.” He ducks his head respectfully and runs up the stairs.
Lefkarthas can hear his father moving, but it’s too late. He doesn’t want to talk to anyone anymore. He closes his door as fast as possible, locking it behind him, and slumps behind his bed. He just wanted his parents to look at him, for once. Was that too much to ask?
Lefkarthas has a human girlfriend whom you're in charge of, and I'm super excited about it!!! I wanna know everything possible - what does she look like? How did she meet him? Is she his bodyguard (since she's from ghost academy if I get it right)? Why was she kidnapped? What is she best at? Do they somehow get intimate? Are they safe? What do they like the most about each other? Ok that's already a lot of questions
I’m flattered you want to know about Mai!
Maikoa is of ancient Hawai’ian descent way back when her ancestors were on Earth. Her family still clings to their old heritage despite being mixed, and she is somewhat short, has very black hair and dark eyes, and is fairly dark-skinned.
Both Maikoa and Lefkarthas live many years after SC2, and there are a few protoss-human towns; her family settled not far from Lefty’s and she knew him almost since she could walk. He took an instant liking and they were inseparable her entire life; he babysat whenever he could, took her on trips, helped her with homework, and taught her bad words.
Mai is telepathic, which was picked up on as she got older. When she was twelve, a recruiter came by to talk to her and she became interested in the Ghost Academy. The problem is, even that many years in the future, though the Academy was not as nefarious and secretive as it had been in the past and didn’t treat their students like test subjects, an unnervingly large number of them always ended up enlisting in the military even though they claimed not to be encouraging such things.
Nerak is very old, and he knew what the Ghost Academy did, and couldn’t let go of it. He basically decided that there was no way he was going to let them screw up another human and went out of his way to “rescue” Mai, who was on her way to the port where she’d be transported to her new school. (Lefty was very sad, but understood that she needed to find her own way; they were not a couple then nor had any care to be seeing as she was still very young.)
He kidnapped her and smuggled her to another planet. Her parents, and Lefkarthas, had no idea where she’d gone. I’m going to fast forward: she managed to find her way back, cue tears, several months later ended up going to the GA for real, and Lefkarthas began his apprenticeship... with Nerak.
Mai did not end up enlisting in the military. She graduated and returned, she and Lefty fell head over heels, and she went to visit Nerak and tell him what a horrible person he was (and is) for kidnapping a twelve year old child and giving her nightmares for the rest of her life. He did not respond correctly. She shot him.
They then ran away and Lefkarthas became a fashion model. She had the training, she she is now his girlfriend-slash-bodyguard. She’s very good at what she does.
They do get intimate, very frequently actually. They have a very active sex life, and an open relationship, and will often go to the club together and seduce the same person.
I don’t know about Lefty, but Mai loves his foul “mouth,” his beauty, his fashion, his sense of humor, the way he looks at her, the way he smiles, the way he struts... the list goes on. She absolutely adores him; always has.
Does Nerak have anyone to take care of him? Or at least just to take care of? I'm concerned
Lefkarthas was supposed to take care of him, but he ran off with his girlfriend to become a fashion model. Zakk’uur checks in on him periodically, and customers come to pick up orders or buy pottery, but for the most part, protoss leave him alone. He doesn’t have any pets, and he really doesn’t care for Zakk’uur’s cat. He has some plants to make tea with, but that’s not really a pet.
I’d say don’t be concerned, but he’s a lonely old man who’s mooning over someone who will never love him back, and has resigned himself to being okay with this. That’s not the personality of someone who wants to bother the doctors when he breaks his foot, or something similar.
