Jesse was one of the hardest people to lose. Somehow it didn’t feel right to let him go so Beatrice never really did. As easy as it would have been to try to contact him, she didn’t, she just thought about him and hoped he was doing well. Some nights she would just go to the roof of the building she was staying at, play Mr Brightside by The Killers, think about the party they had ditched years ago, and miss him.

Who steals french fries off the other’s plate: Beatrice, when she thinks that Jesse isn’t looking but she’s not as sneaky as she thinks. He always sees her.
Who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: Most likely Bea. Though she might just laugh and hug him instead.
Who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: Jesse would have to bust or bail Beatrice out. I’m sure it would be for something dumb.
Who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: Jesse would be a lot better at giving advice.
Who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Beatrice. He might do it to her too, just not as much.

[text] i’m back home with mum and dad, i’m outside smoking a cig and I looked down and saw our little hand marks in the pavement. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Those playdates were so forced I think the whole street felt it haha but that day, when my dad smoothed out the wet cement and told us we could put our hand prints on it, we both shoved our hands into it to be the first one. The little pinkies are basically connected with how quickly we did it. I guess those playdates weren’t so bad. At least I had someone to compete with. (I swear I got my hands down on it first tho) I hope you’re doing well. Sorry I grew up being a pain in the ass.
