Why does Kona primarily practice blood magic? What drew him to it more than any other type of magic? Does he like blood magic or use it just as a tool?

the shaman that took him under wing practiced primarily blood magic, as did the shaman before him. his tribe’s always had a reliance on the blood that flows through their veins, whether it be for magic, warpaint, religious beliefs, etc. something his mentor taught him was that you could always run out of energy, you can always run out of arrows and knives, but once you run out of blood, it doesn’t matter anymore.

when he was younger, blood magic is what he took to quickest. he had a cool, easy command over his own life force, while concentrating a burst of flame or lightening or to change into something else was nigh impossible. in fact, blood magic was the only form of magic he could confidently practice from ages six to fifteen, which means he relied solely on it to keep him safe when he traveled alone to the frozen wastelands.

now that he’s older, it’s more keeping to tradition, and honing what he knows the most. he could easily cease using blood magic if he wanted to, but it gives him a strong connection to his people, and to his past. to him, quitting it would be like slicing off a limb.

honestly, when i see your blog i think: extremely kind-hearted mun who has a++ writing and characterisation and a super interesting oc and just basically 10/10

what’s your an rp pet peeve?

honestly it’s when people keep asking other people for starters, but that second person has all these opens and what not that they have available for people to reply to?? like for me personally it’s so hard to just come up with something out of thin air that will last unless the characters have a standing relationship of some sort, so throwing out opens when i have ideas is easier for me? it’s the main reason i’ve weened back out of putting up starter calls and just put out opens because if you really wanna write with me those are the best way to and i hate :) when they’re :) wasted :)
