I’m more “out” of this hobby than “in” at this point... but seeing a lot of  #ProBJDArtists hashtags around lately. I can only assume this means that recasting has gotten worse in the community, which is super unfortunate. Nearly all my resin babes were bought straight from the company, and the few secondhand ones I’ve bought were from before recasting was prolific (hi I’m old) and/or have COAs. I can’t imagine any scenario where I would ever purchase a knock off BJD... even knowing that there are dolls on my wishlist I will likely never own (looking at you tan Luts Chiwoo). 

Dolls are a luxury item. You are not entitled to them. Stop stealing.

So yeah. Solidarity with all you hashtaggers out there from one lonely little BJD hermit in this corner of the internet.

I started my day feisty... I may as well roll with it. Before I go back to peaches and cream I'd like to pick your brains. So I tied up a half dozen egg patterns that I took with me Steelheading. I didn't plan to fish them. I didn't want to fish them. Guess what? I fished them quite a bit as droppers. A majority of the locals fished beads. With great success I might add. Centerpin rods were also widely used. A part of my gut tells me fishing beads is dirty... Like snagging. Another part of me sees the logic in the methods used to fish beads and the fact it's replicating an aquatic food source. I'd like to know your thoughts on bead fishing? Legal? Ethical? Keep it clean and intelligent please folks. I'm warming up to the idea of bead fishing...
