Are you Looking for an awesome Lemon Infused Gin Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Lemon Infused Gin in the world.
Ingredients
4 cups of gin
3/4 of a cup of sugar
3 organic-unwaxed lemons (just the rind, avoiding the pith)
Directions
Gently peel the lemon rind from the lemon. Be really careful to avoid the bitter pith, using an organic lemon is a must you don’t want any fruit wax in your gin.
Put into your bottle and and then pour in your sugar and gin.
Aging, Straining, And Drinking Your Lemon Infused Gin
Shake well and store away from sunlight, in a cool and dry pace agitating and shaking every other day for the first week then letting it age for another two months shaking weekly .
After the aging/steeping process is done, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.
It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.
Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.
If you still need to do to lack of clarity in your liqueur, you can strain your Sloe Gin Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

Utensils: – A large glass jar (3 liter jar) – large plastic bowl – measuring cups (liquid and dry) – metal strainer – cheesecloth – saucepan – small funnel – glass bottles, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.
Notes on Utensils: And Ingredients
Avoid plastic as much as possible when working with strong alcohol. glass is always preferable.
When choosing your ingredients always choose organic ingredients to avoid pesticide residues that are found on non organic fruit!

A Sparkling Rose + Lemon Gin Cocktail
what you’ll need:
FOR THE ROSE SYRUP:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup dried rose blossoms
FOR THE COCKTAIL:
1 1/2 ounce gin
1 ounce rose syrup (or rose water if you don’t want to make syrup)
1/2 cup sparkling water
1 lemon, juiced plus more for garnish
optional – chamomile flowers for garnish and pomegranate juice for color
How to:
Add water, sugar and rosebuds to a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the mixture starts to simmer, turn heat down to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain the mixture and discard the rosebuds. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to use.
Add syrup, gin and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until combined, then pour into a glass.
Top the glass off with sparkling water or lemonade.
Garnish with a lemon slice and chamomile flowers.

James' Gin Gems Number 15 - Lemon Gin
This takes 3 years to mature so my advice is to make 1 a year and label the bottle with the year!
1 litre bottle gin
200g white granulated sugar
grated rind of 3 unwaxed lemons
Method
Place all of the ingredietns into an airtight bottle and seal.
Shake well.
Sake every time you pass it.
