hEWWO running in because i was just thinking about like the first trimester and cute lil early pregnancy things, like when you first find out you’re pregnant, when you first start telling people,

(also given its spooky season, maybe cute fall themed pregnancy announcements! pumpkins! lil ghosts!),

when you first start really thinking about how your lil nugget is growing in there, starting to show and being so proud, the excitement of first doctor visits! just all the rad lil firsts!

HI HELLO YES LET'S TALK ABOUT FALL PREGNANCIES.

being pregnant during autumn sounds like a dream. it's nice and cool outside, you can wear baggy clothes to stay warm to hide the bump, all the cute ideas for pregnancy reveals as well as the photoshoot opportunities! getting pregnant around late July/early August so you have the ending of summer to deal and still being small enough to hide the pregnancy with baggy clothes. you also get the fun of having a plan for your nugget to have the est costume next year when they're a few months old.

now all i can think about is doing a pregnancy reveal as a Halloween themed photoshoot wearing a costume. maybe you're a farmer and your belly is painted like a pumpkin, you have one of those skeleton shirts that has the skeleton baby, etc. because there really are way too many options to have for costumes while pregnant. though i would be partial to the skeleton shirt if i ever was pregnant during Halloween.

all the firsts to experience is so soft???? finding their first costume, getting Halloween onsies for next year, going to fairs to walk around and eat delicious fair food, walk through pumpkin patches to find the perfect ones to carve, getting to cuddle up with your partner/partners while watching halloween movies. all the while your belly is steadily growing as the weeks pass, beginning to show beneath the sweatshirts or sweaters you have to size up in order to keep the pregnancy a secret. it's nice to not tell anyone right away. it gives you time to have bask in the excitement of your little nugget and becoming a parent.

Just hold them? I think there could be something else you could do for me. Massage them, maybe? Really play around with them so you can help my aching chest produce milk. Hell if you play your cards right you can be one of the first handful of people who get the privilege to have a taste straight from the tap.

Now hear me out right, a baby for every holiday...imagine the holiday themed paternity shoots 🥺

okay i'm listening. i'll go over holidays that I think would make the cutest paternity photo shoot

for valentine's day i'm lying on a heart shaped chair surrounded by rose petals, roses, teddy bears, and fuzzy blankets. my outfit is one of those 1950s housewives robe with very cute pajamas that would be left unbuttoned over my belly. probably have something cute written on my belly or have a heart painted on it while eating some chocolates out of a box balanced on my belly

pride isn't just one holiday but an entire month if celebrating BUT shush it's basically a holiday. all the gay stuff. rainbows, flags, confetti falling from the sky, exaggerated makeup—the works because you have to be fabulously flamboyant for pride. or if you want something on the softer side where it's not so loud? have subtle hints of pride or do cute little rainbow or the flag of your sexual orientation or gender identity handprints on your belly. get shirts made with silly quotes about your identity or expression (ex. n'sync bi bi bi meme shirt if you identity as bisexual)

halloween would be a top contender besides valentine's day. there is so much you could do for halloween regarding a paternity shoot but this is what i would probably do. getting the house ready for a party. in the photos it's basically telling a story of you getting the house decked out for an awesome party with all the decorations and making it goofy. being wrapped up in lights, stealing some candy out of the bowl and getting caught, scaring people with a prop and laughing, getting into costume and having the baby's first costume resting on your belly.

this one isn't particularly holiday related but taking a picture being very pregnant cradling the outfit the baby will be going home in then taking the same picture with the baby after they're born wearing that exact outfit 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Okay…but pregnant and admiring your body in the mirror. Also consider, letting me come up behind you and show you every part that i’m absolutely obsessed with. Telling you how your face has such a gorgeous glow to it, how handsome you look.

How i’m obsessed with your chest, and how all you have to do is ask and i’ll drain and massage those for you, you deserve to be comfortable. How round your belly’s gotten, and how you look phenomenal from every angle. Holding the sides in my hands, turning you either way so you can see. God, look how handsome you are, puppy! You really make this look easy!

Let me turn you to the side and run my fingers down your back, I know it’s a little sore, but isn’t it amazing seeing how our pups have even changed how you stand? I really just cannot get enough of you 🌟✨

I'm putty in your hands the moment you come up behind me. Your pups are certainly fattening me up but I'm no complaints are passing my lips. I adore when you do this, grabbing me by the belly and telling me what you love about my expanding body.

Gods I would beg for relief any time my chest aches. I'm already big pre pregnancy so can you imagine the size of me once my milk comes in???? You wouldn't be able to hold my chest in your hands easily 🫠🫣 I am so handsome only because you helped make me as such August! You are the sire to this litter, the one who knocked me up so silly that you are the one to thank for my transformation. I never want to stop carrying for you. I want to be your good pregnant puppy for as long as my body allows 💕💕

Aw August you're thinking about me??? What an honor and absolutely ADORABLE to know that I can make you think about me so easily. Let me indulge in my curiosity sweet pup, but do you think about me often~?

Oh then maybe it's a good idea that I don't talk about how I'd come to you with complaints about my favorite jeans not fitting anymore. Or how I'll keep asking you every day if my belly looks different since I'm naturally a bigger guy. Or how once we do notice the swell of my stomach that I'll have my hands splayed over it the whole day, even when I'm asleep curled up on my side. I need to protect our pup and I love being able to hold our little baby like that for as long as I can.
