It was about time to get serious. Well, of course he had been very, very serious before, yet even more serious-ness was required! Today, he’d be joined by a most useful, and may he be so bold to add pretty, assistant. Perhaps a fan~ No, that was sadly not the case... her informative services were not free. Truly a lamentable fact that she was no fan, but he could change that-

“Good afternoon, fine miss~. Sho, if I am not mistaken... I am grateful to receive of your services, I have had little luck in the matter as of late.” Cavendish approached the robotic-limbed woman with all the exaggerated swagger of a blond vain prince.

It was a sunny day and the ship was buzzing with people outside, enjoying the sun and the calm day. Not all were just taking time off, there was still a lot of things to do to keep the ship sailing, but even those who were working, was enjoying the day. Not that it was a warm day, they were near a fall island, so the wind was chilly and the temperature low. However, everything was just better with the sun shinng from a blue sky.

Marco was one of the few not outside enjoying the heat radiating from the sun. He was in the aterlier, working on his latest project. With practiced precision he moved the knife over the wood, his tongue stiking lihtly out of his mouth,as he was full on concentratin on not ruining the piece he was working on.

It was a figure of the Moby Dick, one he missed in his collection. He’d already had one of Oyaji and all commanders and a few other people close to him. Well, not all were complete, as he switched between the different figurines. It allowed him to be creative about a piece when he had the inspiration for it.

(Lemonplanting) Kyuno tugged on Marco’s pants and looked up at his papa, pointing at the mistletoe that’s being hanged by Haruta for some prank. ‘P-papa! I want up- so I can marry mama down on.. on misotoe!’ Kissing someone means getting married to them, right? If so, the little chick would be delighted to have his mama all to himself. >:3

Marco looked down at his son, a soft smile crossing his face. He crouched down in front of him, patting his head.

“Oh? You know what the mistletoe means -yoi?” He asked in mock surprise.

With a chuckle he scooped his boy up and called Sho over. Standing under the mistletoe he gave her a wide smile.

“Someone wants a Christmas kiss -yoi! Wouldn’t be the holiday without one!”

When Sho came over, under the mistletoe with the two boys, Marco lent forward and got his kiss in first. He smiled at the expression on Kyunos face before leaning him forward to his mama.

“Looks like I’m losing my wife -yoi. The horror.” He said.

He gave a little laugh and smiled at his smaller family. A memory to cherish as Kyuno grew for sure.

🧣 – to wrap a scarf around my muse’s neck to beat the cold 

Marco felt the cold creeping through the hallways of the Moby Dick. It wasn’t that bad, but it did leave to his brothers wearing a little more clothes. He had put a blouse on, a simple dark purple one, which did have the simplified Jolly Roger of the Whitebeard Pirates on the chest.

Smiling, he greeted his family, as he passed them on his way out. As soon as he was outside, he swept his eyes over deck and spotted the person he’d been looking for. Without missing a beat, he walked over to her and gently wrapped a warm scarf around her neck, the wind was a little chilly and it was colder ut here than indoors, but not enough to keep you indoors all day.

“Can’t have you getting a cold, because you’re underdressed, yoi.” He smiled, as he made sure the scarf wasn’t going to blow off her neck.

Scratching the back of his head, Vista looked at the paper on his desk, unsure what to do with it. Was this a serious thing? He'd heard that a few others had recieved an application for Valentines and he did find it a rather cute way of asking someone out.

Was this one really for him or was it misplaced? Well, he better find out. Anyway, he wouldn't mind spending a day with Sho, but if she would want someone else that was fine too. He just wanted her to be happy. Deciding to confront her, he took the application and went on a search for her.

"I will definitely take her out for ice cream, either today or another time. It'll be fun." He mused, as he walked around in search for her.

5: Romantic (Tender) Kiss

Thatch loved spending time with Sho. She was fun, intelligent and kind. Sure, she could be clumpsy, but he didn't mind, it just gave him opportunities to catch her and make sure she was steady on her feet again. In a way she was like him, seemingly carefree and goofy, but when it came down to it, she too could be dead serious and send shivers down the spine on anyone at the receiving end of her anger. He had the same vibe.

Maybe it was that, which drew his heart closer to her or maybe the fact that she wasn't flawless in appearance as other women he'd been with. Anyway, he found himself loving her more and more for every moment he spend with her.

They were currently lying on the head of the Moby Dick, staring at the starry sky. It was a calm and beautiful night, it was new moon, so all f the stars were the main source of lights from above. Thatch loved it and it gave just the right romantic mood and vibe.

Turning his face towards her, he let his hand caress her face. "You know, nothing can actually compare to your beauty." He said softly, knowing it sounded to cliché, but he was just being sincere. She was beautiful and while other people and things were beautiful too, he found that nothing was as beautiful as her.

Before she could even counter his words or give a snaky remark back, he leaned forward and captured her lips for a tender and loving kiss, telling her with the action just how he felt. Because words would just sound to cliché and he didn't want her to think he wasn't serious enough. Actions always spoke louder than words.
