I had other matches in mind at first but eventually I came to the conclusion that you and Tigh would make a lovely pair that would have so many new things to discover after meeting each other!
I wouldn't call it a dramadic change of world-views but I think you would begin to open your eyes to new possibilities that you couldn't see before.
What makes this really precious is that you are both the 'mom' friends: caring, knowledgeable and always seeking to help those around you. You have this natural connection of wanting to preserve and care for what's most important to you.

However, you remind him a more lenient approach to people can help them grow more at times than a heavy lecture session. You've become like this tiny voice at the back of his head to call him out when he's going overboard heheh.
He finds it admirable that people are drawn to you thanks to how reserved and reliable you are, but how you also make them feel right at home with your goofy side.

You can rest assured Tighnari will be there to help you work through and organise everything you need. If he cannot be there with you right away, he leaves sweet notes on your table with some reminders and a cup of coffee ♡

Even without those huge fluffy ears of his Tighnari could listen to you for hours on end. It's not only that he loves hearing all what you have to say but also your voice is so melodious to his ears. It relieves all the pent up stress work as a forest ranger has brought him.
Might even fall asleep on rare cases if he's exhausted and you're telling him a story or singing by the wreath late at night. But again, that's because your voice is like honey to him.
If you want, he'll also offer solid advice on whatever is troubling you. As an alternative, you can just pet his tail and ears to relax, as long as it makes you feel better (◍ ´꒳` ◍) It's a soothing feeling for Tighnari as well so cuddle with him all you want with the time you have.
May I add that if anyone tries to interrupt while you're talking with Tigh around, they won't be let off easy. Luckier ones might be spared with a mere piercing glare but ain't anyone going to cut you off if Tighnari can cut off their tongue.
You're an intelligent, peaceful couple that's always out to learn more yet know the boundaries when it comes to acquiring wisdom. Tighnari still doesn't know how he came to be lucky enough to have met you but he's grateful he did!
As part of the Adventurers' guild international investigation team, you were sent to Gandharva Ville in Sumeru to assess the situation after the withering had been seemingly taken care of on most part.
Tighnari was the one who showed you around the ville and helped you get acquainted with everyone, though it took no time at all before you had assimilated right into the cozy community.
He found you to be very respectable in your field and as a person who adapted so well with your surroundings. Though because you weren't from around the area, the dangers you might get into often worried him.
But you were capable and showed him you weren't naiive enough to go forming "inter-species friendships" with random crocs.
Like most, you initially saw Tighnari as a loner, more fixed on work than creating relationships, but a coincidental lunch together on one sunny afternoon made you change your perspective. He was funny and considerate, offering you a bite of his lunch that looked so unfamiliar to you.
It was also the first time he saw how many emotions you actually carried with you yet how your positive attitude rarely dimmed.
You swung your feet leisurely on the branch you were sitting and the time flew by as you talked. By the time reality caught up, you realised you had to get back to work, you both having your own research to attend to.
After days like these kept repeating themselves, you thought maybe it would not hurt to prolong your stay by a bit more . . . or maybe by a lot.
Since fennec foxes mate for life, it definitely took Tighnari a while to realise his feelings and process them. But once he knew, it was set in stone it had to be you.
He always plans the perfect picnic dates for you in the Avidya forest! He knows the safest, most peaceful spots too so you don't need to worry about running into any trouble.
You prepare something yummy together before heading off, and the walk to the area is pleasant, birdsong and other sounds of nature making you feel like you could rest under a tree there for a week.
Tighnari, however, quickly reminds you that the rain-forest weather is way too fickle for such a vacation so you have to pout at him.
"I know, but if you ever come out here for a longer time, you need to let me know, all right?"
Worrying intensifies, he's a protective boy
Although he prefers more intimate dates where you two can be alone, he'll agree to go to the city for some tavern and café delicacies. The noise of the bustling urban life is bearable when he's together with you.
He can focus only on your date and nothing else. Just make sure to steer clear of anything related to the Akademiya to keep your visit enjoyable and leisurely.
While you're at it, Tighnari takes you on a stroll through the gardens of Pradis Dhyai. Even if you don't know much about botany, the fact that you listen to his endless and complicated talks about his passion is more than enough ♡︎
If you ever later point out a plant that he taught you though he can't help the smile that spreads across his face. Might be a bit shy to show it and says it's natural that you remember something like that, but the tail and ears don't lie bro.
Your skills in photography never cease to impress him. He often asks if you could take a few pictures for his research topic, for fair a reward, of course. He keeps all the photos you've given him either in his research notes or on his room wall where he can admire them.

Makes bookmarks and dividers for you out of the most beautiful flowers and leaves he can find ♡ It makes his tail swish back and forth seeing you using them for your reading, calendar or anything really.
Also he has made special essential olis to fit your hair-type so it would stay in top condition even in the rainforest climate!
So even though you say you're pleased easily, Tighnari does not cut corners when it comes to showing you how dear you are to him.

When you passive-aggressively sent away a bunch of pesky researchers who didn't know what no meant. For Tighnari it was a common occurrence that students and graduates alike would come to ask him to collab with them on their projects. But this time it irritated him enough to want to jump out of the bed where he was supposed to be resting—those particular people now also wanted to bring you into their dangerous experiments. Unlike Tighnari who would have brutally told they had better chances asking a stumperbeast, you had another, more discreet way with words but which nevertheless sent the group on their way shaking. You were most mad they had kept insisting even though you told them Tighnari was down with a fever. When you came back inside, your lover was laughing with flushed cheeks, head-over-heels in love with you.

For Tigh it doesn't matter much as long as he gets to be close to you, so he loves taking his time to kiss your knuckles, your shoulders, your neck. He's either very playful or very sentational and sweet about it but I'd say it's a win either way :3c

'Honey' and 'darling'. Plus sassy inside jokes, sweet terms of endearments, especially after flowers and fruits. Sometimes these confuse even yourself but Tighnari simply claims it is combining his favourite things in the world if you know what I mean.
— Putting the other's feelings above your own isn't always the best choice, especially if you are not sure of what those feelings truly are. So is the saying 'if you love them, let them go' really as wise as they say?

— These were the words you heard Tighnari say when you told him you had been called back to the Adventurers' Guild headquarters in Shneznaya. With a straight face and a firm nod of his head, he was willing to let you go just like that.
— You were just about to add that maybe you could ask for another position in the guild that would allow you to stay in Gandharva ville. It was, after all, a place you had grown so fond of. A place you had made so many new friends. The place you'd found Tighnari.
— Another immediate answer. "We'll see each other again. Besides, I don't want to stand in the way of you following your dreams."
— "But do you want me to stay?"
— Tighnari looked at you like he had never before, as though he had hoped you wouldn't ask him that. His long ears sank closer to his head but his gaze still remained fixed on you. Silence will the air between you while you tried to comprehend why did he suddenly look like the one who was hurt.
— This time, you were the one to nod your head, the bitter feeling from the wordlessly answered question only showing themselves through the tears that threatened to escape your eyes. Before they could, you rushed out of the room and into the cool night.
— If he couldn't even say he wanted you to stay then what was the point of you pleading for the guild's permission. How could've someone who knew you almost better than yourself not understand that your happiness was not out there but here, with him, in your home.
— You might as well set off tonight. Or at least spend the night in the city. Not here. Anywhere but here.
— Yet not even at the borders of the sleepy village did the weight of the unsaid words became any easier to carry. Tighnari's feet carried him like the wind but his heart was heavy as lead. His throat burned and his eyes searched for any signs of you, his ears picking up the slightest shuffle and his nose hoping to catch a whiff of your familiar scent.
— For the first time in his life he wished he had wisdom beyond his power. Wisdom to have pushed aside his hurtful reasoning, wisdom to find you admist the darkness, wisdom to turn back time.
— "Ai . . ." Breathlessly he would hug you close to his chest so you could feel his racing heart. His arms would wrap around you selfishly, tightly. "I'm sorry. I want you to stay. Don't go."
— But will you be gone by then?
