it was late, and lennon definitely knew it was bedtime, however her dove chocolate for the day had explicitly said to stay up past bedtime. clearly she was supposed to stay up late for some reason. so she skipped towards her daddy a grin on her face, "i know it's night time, but dove tells me i should stay up late tonight and that is a better rule than daddy's so i'm staying up late tonight!" she even had the wrapper to prove it and held it out to him happily, "see, it says so." she wasn't sure if she wanted to be pissed off or not. she wasn't even sure she wanted to mention anything to him at this point. mostly she wanted to talk to sawyer, but since he was missing or dead in a sewer, or really just on tour, she couldn't. so she'd done the next best thing. she'd gone to find samantha tears in her eyes and spilled her guts. "sam, i don't know what to do," she coughed as she finished her very angry and tearfilled story. "i don't want to leave him but i don't want to be just another girl on his sexual conquests." mostly she just wanted to know why she wasn't ever good enough.
