Interestingly, Aoki mentions Zeo/ZO being inspired by Pinocchio rather than Astro Boy... Despite the very distinct similarity of him being an android rather than a puppet, and specifically being a copy of the scientist's son. Sources say Astro Boy was inspired by Pinocchio, so that makes sense.

Happy birthday Leon!!!!

Another birthday portrait, Leo does not exist in the anime, he appears only in the manga. I had fun with his hair and wanted to make a more detailed portrait for him, he deserves more attention.

Even though I deleted my side blog, I will finish sharing these portraits on my main one ☺️

Surprisingly I had fun with Leon’s hair, I haven’t finished the others I am doing, but I got this green tone and I like how it looks on Leon 🖤

I did a ton of layers on the base, but so far, I like it 🥺

I had forgotten that Wyatt died before Zeo showed up. With how similar their personalities are... I’m thinking of writing a fanfic where Zeo is the reincarnation of Wyatt, as if Zagart accidentally put Wyatt’s soul into his android.

I like Beyblade V-Force, but I hate the fact that they've changed Zeo's past.

In the anime, Zeo is an android, created by Dr. Zagart in order to catch Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel and Driger so that Dr. Zagart can make Zeo human.

While in the manga (And the original story), Zeo is actually a boy named Leon. He's Zeo's younger brother and has been "brainwashed" by Dr. Zagart to make Leon think that he's Zeo. His goal is to catch the Bladebreakers' bit-beasts for Dr. Zagart so that Dr. Zagart can revive the real Zeo.

That change was really unnecessary... .__.
